We'll equipped and clean. The owners are attentive and there if you need any help. A great base to explore the Lincolnshire Wolds or coast. We were not disappointed and would stay again.

"We had a wonderful stay at Silvadale cottage it had everything you needed and more, we were greeted by Neil with a handshake and a smile, whom continued to show us around the cottage, he made sure before he left that it was no trouble if we needed anything at all, that we shouldn’t hesitate to ask, the cottage was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated with plush furnishings, and a very comfortable bed, also the grounds of Silvadale house are stunning, which we were allowed to use freely, we will definitely be returning."

Leigh and Neil were excellent, friendly, hosts and provided very helpful guidance on places to visit together with a number of recommended walks through the Lincoln Wolds.

The garden and the wildlife are great too. We were made so welcome. Loads of great touches, like supplying the maps and bins for our walks. Loved the location, great for the coast Lincoln and the wolds. A week wasn't long enough.

The quality of the accommodation and fittings is superb and second to none. We loved every minute, especially sitting in their magnificent garden which is set in a lovely tranquil location. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary whilst on holiday and were very touched to be given flowers and prosecco by our hosts. All in all we had an amazing and memorable break in Silvadale Cottage and hope to return next year for longer.

The gardens in which the cottage is situated are extremely well kept and are great to sit in and enjoy the peace and quiet. There is a general air of tranquility at the cottage whilst enjoying the facilities on offer in nearby Louth and surrounding the countryside where local walks are to be found.

"This is a gem of a cottage."
The setting, at the rear of the owners property and looking out on their wonderful garden, is perfect. Leigh and Neil are extremely welcoming and treated us as part of their family. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you would need to enjoy your stay. We were encouraged to use the spectacular garden whenever we liked and it is something to behold. The location is ideal for exploring the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds with the lovely market towns of Louth and Horncastle and is only 30 mins drive to the coastal resorts of Cleethorpes, Mablethorpe and Skegness. We will certainly return to this cottage.

"We were looking for a base to meet up with my parents safely ."
They live locally and we live 180 miles away which meant we hadn't met up during lockdown. Silvadale appeared a good meeting place where we could maintain social distancing. That was our priority with the booking. What we got was so much more. The cottage itself is immaculate and furnished to a very high standard. The bed was comfortable and shower excellent. Leigh and Neil were perfect hosts making us feel very welcome. The photos on the website do not do the garden justice as it is amazing. The wildlife was fascinating...including the deer which appeared one evening. There are lots of beautiful local walks too. We will definitely return.

! Perfect for 2 people, it has absolutely everything you could want for a self catering holiday. It is immaculate & the owners are there if you need them without being intrusive. It has all modern fixtures & fittings & permission to use their outstanding garden to relax in. We enjoyed fresh homegrown produce from the owners garden with their permission. It is perfectly placed for visiting the East Coast seaside towns like Cleethorpes, Mablethorpe & Skegness & the historic town of Louth is close by as are many parks. Book it you won’t be disappointed. We will definitely be visiting again

"This cottage was close to the hosts large gated house with a lovely garden."
My wife & I spent four very restful nights there. All facilities required were availabe The interior was presented to a very high standard & very smart decor. Just like a luxury hotel suite. Hosts were warm & friendly & clearly wanted us to enjoy our stay. We walked into Louth which has a beautiful church with a very large elegant spire. Plenty of coffee places. I think we will return.

Ideally situated on the outskirts of Louth and surrounded by open countryside. I found the owners were most hospitable, offering helpful advice for local walks and visits to places of interest further afield. This holiday let has all the amenities you need whether a base for exploring the Lincolnshire Wolds or just simply relaxing.
