    “Lovely house, beautifully restored.”

It is warm and cosy with a nice little log burner with logs to get you started. Kitchen well kitted out with plenty of crockery and cutlery to enable you to use the dishwasher if you wished. It is warm and cosy with a nice little log burner with logs to get you started. Kitchen well kitted out with plenty of crockery and cutlery to enable you to use the dishwasher if you wished. Nice enclosed garden, great for the dog. Bedroom we used spacious with plenty storage. Bathroom very smart. Market Rasen was not what we expect but we had a lovely holiday. Town mainly ran along the busy main road with a small market place. There is a couple of super markets and a few nice little shops. The Aston Arms was a nice busy if a little tired dog friendly pub with very reasonable good home cooked food and well kept beer. The White Swan also dog friendly was a nice pub and we ate there a few night too. The George was ok for a drink but hubby not keen on the only real ale so only went a couple of times. We had a day at the races which we walked to from the house, took the train to from the lovey Market Rasen station ran by the community to Lincoln. Willingham woods really nice but not very big. The Kings Head at Tealby, lovely thatched roof pub with very nice food. Cleethopes was a nice seaside day out on a sunny February day. Louth was nice for a look at the shops and a walk in Hubbard Hills was also a nice day out. Wood hall Spa was recommended by the landlord of The Aston and we were so glad we took his advice. Lovely walks, Kinema in the woods, our dog loved chasing the squirrels in the woods and a charming little high street. We also called into Horncastle with its lovely antique shops and a walk along the canal. Most places we visited was about 30 minutes drive from a Market Rasen. Great base for exploring the Wolds. All in all a really nice holiday and would recommend the house.
