"Karen was amenable and accessible throughout our stay, very helpful and kind."
The property is in a very quiet location (unless the cabbages are being harvested!) great for walks and birdwatching. Great facilities, would have liked to have baked more here, but the surrounding pubs are so fabulous we ate out more than in.
Glad you had a good time Lesley and thanks for the positive feedback, I must really try a few more local pubs for dinner!! Thanks Karen x Property Owner

"10/10 A little gem, a beautiful property in rural Lincolnshire with everything you need for a comfortable stay."
Surrounded by nature and the most beautiful scenery. The Chapel is surprisingly spacious. It was very clean, modern, warm and well decorated. The hosts Karen and Paul were friendly, accommodating, contactable and just couldn’t do enough for you, they really put a lot of care and effort into making the Chapel the best experience possible. Special touches like the lovely lemon cake were very much appreciated and enjoyed. We had 3 children and a dog with us and they were all catered for so well. The dog even had a welcome package of his own. We stayed in December and the house was decorated for Christmas and hot chocolate and marshmallow cones were made up for the children. The garden is fully enclosed I don’t think it shows in the pictures but there is a mesh along the fence so no need to worry about any escapees. Whilst there we visited historic Lincoln Castle and cathedral and took a walk up steep hill, we visited the new aquarium and dinosaur falls in Skegness, We took a trip to Donna Nook to see the seals and their pups and then to Spalding Baytree winter wonderland to visit Father Christmas and the Springfield shopping village …all well worth a visit . A wonderful stay and we will definitely book again. Thank you Karen and Paul
Lucy, so glad you had a great time, Baytree winter wonderland is just the best! Look forward to hosting again. X Property Owner

"The Olde Chapel was a very comfortable comfortable cottage to stay in."
As keen bird watchers it’s a good base for visiting the wildlife reserves in this area of Lincolnshire. A very different and interesting landscape with ‘huge’ skies. A welcome pack on arrival was a thoughtful gesture and most welcome. Thank you to Karen and family.

"If you want complete peace & quite then the Old Chapel is the perfect place."
It is very nicely furnished & the layout is excellent. We all ( 5 adults and two dogs) had a very relaxing time there. Dog friendly beaches are not too far away & the 'We'll meet again' WW1 & 2 museum is close enough to walk to and is worth visiting.

"We had a lovely stay at The Olde Chapel."
When we arrived everything was spotlessly clean and the owner had everything ready for us. There was a welcome tray with delicious cake as well as many other items. The cottage is very well equipped and as our party had family members of all ages there were plenty of toys and games. I would definitely recommend the Olde Chapel as a quiet, peaceful and relaxing place to stay in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside

"The house was spacious and clean, plenty of space for everyone"

"The Olde Chapel was perfect."
By far the best holiday home we have stayed in.Everything that was needed was in there. The welcoming gift was perfect after a long drive and the Lemon cake set our holiday off to perfection. The location of the Olde Chapel meant that the only noise was from a very rare passing car,we heard two go past in the week we were there !! As soon as we stepped through the door we felt at home.Communication from the owner was spot on. Thank you for a thouroughly relaxing holidy.

"The Olde Chapel is one of the best dog friendly accommodations we have stayed in."
The owners have put themselves in 'the guest' shoes and there is a kitchen full of utensils and nothing is missing like home from home. It is furnished to a high standard and was spottlesly clean. We took our grandchildren and 2 small dogs so the enclosed garden was perfect. peace and tranquility is what you get here and being 10 minutes from Boston, 5 minutes from a fabulous nature reserve and about 35 mins from the coast its perfectly located. We would definately recommend the accomodation and hope to return again soon.

"This place is amazing!"
So much bigger than we expected, beautifully situated and such a perfect place to stay for a weekend (we will be back to stay for a week!) Everything we needed was in the house, we never felt we had to ask for anything and even if we would've had to, the owners were lovely and accommodating. This lovely house exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back!!
-
"Fantastic cottage which comes complete with everything you could need, including a delicious welcome cake."
Would definitely recommend it.
-
"Karen went to the trouble of making the place cosy and very Christmasy She made a fantastic lemon drizzle cake which we shared over two days working out in the cold."
Couldn't fault the place at all, would definitely rebook in the New Year when we are up working again
-
"Loved cottage well appointed facility Lovely extra touches such as a home baked cake and bowls for the dofs and blankets for humans to snuggle under Well appointed kitchen If I have any niggles 1 car parking would be right for 3 cars not impossible but tight and radiator in the down stairs room didn’t work so the bedroom was cold luckily I took a hot water bottle and the owners did provide a fluffy blanket Also the local pubs were not as advertised not the owner of the cottages problem as we did go to each pubs website luckily to check them out and most did not do food or stopped at 3pm but that’s an issue they need to sort out All in all if back in llncoln I would stay here again Re the booking somehow I went via a booking site who took £40 even though Sykes cottage said they shouldn’t !"
! Help getting back would be most welcome
