The property

This inviting, detached cottage is situated in lovely grounds within the Lincolnshire Wolds AONB.

It has been thoughtfully designed throughout and is surrounded by picturesque scenery, making a perfect base for a family retreat.

Discover the snug sitting room where you can relax after a day of rambling the area, furnished with two large sofas and an alluring open fire to keep you toasty.

Just off the sitting room is a snug, offering a quieter spot to break away from the excitement of the group and lose yourself in a good book, this has a sofa bed which is suitable for people with lack of mobility.

Follow on through into the well-equipped kitchen and make use of the provided appliances, allowing you to rustle up a delicious feast to be enjoyed at the dining table.

Completing the downstairs is a shower room and a utility with washer/dryer, handy if your outdoor adventures take off on a muddier route.

There are two bedrooms at this delightful cottage, including a king-size double and standard double, each fitted with plush bedding and ample storage for your personal belongings, and are serviced by two bathrooms.

Sit out in the garden and enjoy a refreshing drink whilst you appreciate the tranquil surroundings, with a beautiful fishing lake just a stone’s throw from the back door.

A pleasant walk can be enjoyed along the lake which takes you to the nearest pub, The White Hart Inn, which serves good food and a selection of ales.

Access to both trout and coarse fishing is available at no extra charge (a standard rod license is required) and horse stabling and grazing are available at an additional charge.

The property is situated on a bridleway with access to loads of ‘off road’ hacking.

The bustling town of Market Rasen can be reached in a short drive and offers an abundance of independent shops and award-winning eateries.

The area is also popular with walkers and cyclists with numerous trails and footpaths to explore, including the Willingham Woods which is just a short drive from the cottage.
