  • "The semidetached 3 bedroom house is situated absolutely in the middle of nowhere."

Surrounded by fields amazing views. Perfect for a quiet week. We stayed end of April. So quiet maybe no so in farming season. It’s a lovely well equipped house. Everything you need to feel home from home. Bathroom downstairs but lovely and big. Towels were soft and fluffy. Water hot. The bedroom we only stayed in the main one. Mattress very soft and comfy. The floors are not carpeted so I would recommend bringing slippers with you. The enclosed garden is secure for your dog to be safe. The WiFi was perfectly fine for us we watched Netflix no bother. We used as a base and went to Sandringham, King’s Lynn, Heacham and Hunstanton. Also we walked our little dog each evening down the lane to the house. I would recommend to stay here. We really enjoyed it.

Very warm and welcoming and a very comfortable bed. Everything we needed. A bit cold to fully use the conservatories but I'm sure they are really nice in the spring and summer. Loved the view across the fields. A great area in the winter if you like bird watching.

It was perfect lovely and peaceful. Booked it again in November 2022 and it was awful, idiots letting off fireworks in the field where the cottage is, they were going off directly above the cottage. I have never heard fireworks so loud and so close. My dog was absolutely terrified. I do not recommend booking this cottage if you want to get away from the fireworks. It was a complete waste of £400

  • "Grange Farm Cottage is the perfect base for visiting Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire."

It has a secure garden for children and dogs, a well equipped kitchen and separate dining room, large sitting room and 2 conservatoires. The 3 double bedrooms have top quality bedding. Close by is the swing bridge, and in the other direction 2 lighthouses. Short drives away are dog friendly walks in Long Sutton, Castle Rising and of course the seaside. The only negative - I couldn't find a teapot!

The cottage had everything we needed, though WiFi was probably the slowest I’ve seen (though we had been told about it). It would be helpful to include a few more ideas of local places to visit in the visitors guide as we spent most of our time travelling 30+ min to find fun things to do (like walks in woods and cafe’s to visit). Thanks for sharing your house with us.

Thanks for your feedback! So glad you enjoyed your stay. We have now included a places to visit sheet, showing locations on the doorstop, under an hour and under two hours away. We’ve also upgraded our WiFi hub to hopefully improve the signal :-) Property Owner

  • "Very pleased with cottage."

Unfortunately I picked the wettest week on record however we were lovely and warm in the cottage. The flooring was ideal as when we brought our dogs in soaking wet we could dry them off in the sun room. I couldn't believe the size of the house. We seemed to be opening doors to yet another room so if you want chill out time on your own it was no problem. The garden was absolutely perfect, pity due to weather conditions we couldn't get out there but the views were gorgeous. Also garden very safe for dogs, and plenty of room to park the car. Very big bathroom, useful second toilet, good sized bedrooms, lovely completely rural location, but on our walks met and chatted with all the locals. Must do's: walk to the lighthouses and nature reserve, dinner at The Anchor in Sutton Bridge ( we had fantastic carvery on Wed night for £7.50!!), Kings Lynn, Norfolk Lavender Farm and Sandringham Country Park all worth a visit. Would def book this cottage again, oh and by the way they even supply dog bowls. Very doggy friendly.

It sits in such a peaceful location, more often than not, all you can hear is the wind and the wildlife. Heaven, for Townies like us. The cottage itself is very well appointed, with all mod cons, and is very much a warm and comfortable home from home. It is now fully fenced with 4ft wooden picket fencing, which means most dogs can access the garden without fear of escape, which for us is a big plus point.

It's a really comfortable, homely cottage. The only thing I'd have liked to seen on it's listing is a warning about the low fences in the back garden. Yes, the garden was fenced all the way round, but if you had a dog which could jump over 2ft 6", then those hares and deer on the other side might have proved too much of an enticement to safely allow the dogs in the garden.
