  • "A wonderful place to stay."

    Quiet ,clean and comfortable with top quality fixtures. The bedding and towels are lovely. The rooms are spacious and modern being suitable for older or less able people. Parking is easy right outside the door. Excellent for the beach or walking being adjacent to the National Trust nature reserve.

  • "This bungalow is excellent and caters well for all the family."

    The sandy beach is just a cross the road, and there is plenty of dog walking areas on grass next to the beach. The beds are very comfortable and clean, the bedrooms are large, the kitchen is well equipped and dinning table can fit 8 people. The lounge is also large with plenty of seating. There is a decent size back garden which is closed off, so dog's and children are safe. Me and all my family had a wonderful stay, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

  • "3 generations of our family have just enjoyed a relaxing week at 4 Roman Bank."

    A spacious, comfortable cottage with excellent facilities in a quiet location formed the basis of a wonderful week. Natural beach with a coffee shack is a stones throw away and the local cafe is a short stroll along the promenade. Lovely enclosed garden. We'd love to return in 2025.

  • "It was a family holiday and had a couple of elderly family members with us, and they found it difficult to get out of the low chairs!"

    A great property for all the family, my elderly Mum had a wet room so she could take a shower, and my elderly neighbour had her own on suite with patio doors into the garden for her dog. A great place with plenty of room, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The kitchen had everything you needed should you wish to cook. This was our second time there but won’t be our last… Thank you

  • "Bungalow is massive."

    4 bedrooms with 3 ensuites. Plenty of storage space.Kitchen is very well equipped with large table and chairs. Lounge has 2 comfortable settees, 3 occasional chairs and large TV. There is a secluded garden. Room for 3 cars on drive. Ideally situated for walks on the beach. We had a great holiday at 4 Roman Bank and would highly recommended staying here.

  • "We have stay in several properties around the UK over the years and this is by far the best we have stayed at."

    The property has everything you would ever need, is very clean and spacious. The location was perfect for us with 2 dogs that love the beach. The recommendations for places to eat/takeaway was spot on. We have looked at booking in the summer but they are already fully booked for the dates we wanted and we can understand why. This is a property we will be booking again in the future.

  • "You cater for a disabled person in the bathroom but not one chair in the bungalow that people with hip or knee problems can sit on or get up."

    I had to bring a garden chair in to sit on. You are not the only ones as most cottages I have stayed in are the same. Please remember the oldies. Didn't realise there was a busy road at the front. Didn't see a gardener! Needed one. Otherwise we had a lovely holiday thank you.

  • "Perfectly situated for taking a good old fashioned holiday."

    Beach just across the relatively quiet road which is dog friendly. Promenade takes you straight to Sutton on Sea and Mablethorpe if you want a more active day. The property was perfect. All clean and spacious. Back garden secure for the four legged friend. All the family had a wonderful week. Totally recommend it.

  • "Marked down on cleanliness as in 2 bedrooms there were makeup pads on the floor behind the small units."

    A number of cobwebs in the house. Fantastic property lovely location Wet room does not drain properly so by the end of the week smelt somewhat even tho we hadn't used it massively. Great games left to help entertain all staying. Great amount of plates and cups

  • "Thank you for providing me and my family with an amazing place to stay."

    I don't normally get time to relax but here I did, it was like a home away from home, mum didn't want to leave were already looking into coming back. The only 2 things I could mention is the bedroom next to tje living room the shower drain lid comes off and the water takes a while to drain away, and also the security light in the backgarden wasn't very bright. Other than this it was an brilliant property to relax and unwind.

  • "This was the perfect holiday cottage for our holiday in beautiful Lincolnshire."

    The accessibility for Mum who has mobility needs was great, the garden was super for our dog to have a run around knowing that escape was impossible. The closed golf course across the road is being transformed into a nature reserve and is ideal for walking the dog. The house was very clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend. Only one suggestion, a parasol for the garden when sitting out, it is a smashing sun trap but some shade would be good.

    Beach is just across the road which was great for the grandchildren and dog friendly. Well positioned for Mablethorpe and if you fancied a trip to Skegness. Great family holiday would recommend. We had great weather as well which was an added bonus. We will be back.

    It was clean, warm, spacious and within yards of the beach. Wardrobe space was better than previous experience. The enclosed garden meant that our German Shepherd dog could roam at will. We would highly recommend this property.

  • "What a find!"

    Perfect week in a perfect cottage - weather was superb for March and the accommodation had it all. 1 minute from the beach, secure garden for the dogs, easy parking for the cars. Accommodation was spotless, beds were very comfortable with crisp white linen, lovely ensuite shower rooms with fluffy towels and quality furnishings throughout. The kitchen was great with dishwasher and fabulous induction hob. Enough crockery and cutlery to have a full dishwasher and still manage to eat. Lots of choice of glasses and we counted 23 mugs in total! I think the only thing we found lacking was a steamer for the veg! Will def recommend to friends.

  • "Walking into the property, we could not only see, but actually smell the cleanliness."

    Things which quite regularly let some properties down e.g. a saucepan or some cutlery, crockery etc. which have been put away imperfectly washed, just didn't apply here. Everything we used was sparkling clean. In addition, the property was very well equipped with good quality fixtures and fittings. The beds were very comfortable and the linen was perfect too. We took our 2 large, hairy dogs ( golden retriever and g.r. cross). I really appreciated the ease of maintenance re the hard floors for a quick sweep up if their coats had dropped sand, and also the outside tap. The only thing we were surprised not to find in such a thoughtfully appointed property was the absence of shaver /electric toothbrush points in the bathrooms. We loved it though. Well done and thank you Jenni and Henry .

  • "Brilliant spacious property that is really well equipped and furnished to a great standard."

    The property was spotlessly clean on arrival, and the kids loved the Wii and games that were at the property. Beautiful living room but could have done with an extra chair to accommodate 8 people. The kitchen is very well equipped and we did bake a cake! Great enclosed garden that was secure for the dogs. Comfy beds and great that there are 3 bathrooms. The wet room fan has a rather noisy vent and rattled through the night, but it was extremely windy weather the week of our stay. The single bedroom was extremely cold but there was an additional heater provided. The communication with the owner was brilliant and overall it is one of the best holiday homes we have stayed in.

  • "We had an amazing relaxing stay."

    The property has everything and more. The kitchen has been cleverly thought out with enough cups, crockery and cutlery so whilst the dishwasher is on you have plenty spare. We loved the lamps in the house which gives it a perfect ambience. We also loved the ensuites in each bedroom. The garden is brilliant and secure for our dogs as we have a Romanian rescue and we are always nervous if the description of the garden is accurate and safe for her, and it was. She was not able to jump the fence and it is not solid so she was able to see out. We were lucky to have had snow and was like Christmas with the log fire on. The location is perfect, just opposite the beach with plenty to do and see and if your a dog walker there are miles of beach and walkway to exercise your doggies. We will be returning next year for sure.

  • "Excellent Bungalow right onto the beach front."

    Very well equipped kitchen you could even bake a cake. All bedrooms are well sized along with your own en-suite attached to each bedroom. Enclosed back garden for children and dogs. We booked an Asda delivery which arrived just after us which was great. I would different recommend this bungalow.

    The house has been so thoughtfully & professionally put together to ensure your every comfort & facility. A kitchen so well equipped you could cook a full Sunday roast or bake a cake with a proper sized fridge/freezer for the size of property. Dressing tables & mirrors, bedside tables & quality beds in every bedroom. The house is so well presented with home comforts to create a cosy & relaxing ambiance & very clean throughout Board games, Wii & great sized smart TV Log burner with enough logs & fire lighters provide for our whole stay Enclosed garden, porch, outdoor hosepipe & a dog friendly beach literally 1 minute across the road, perfect for our dogs There is a licensed cafe 10 minutes walk from the house & a pleasant 30 minute walk along the promenade takes into Sutton on the sea with a choice of pubs, cafes & shops.
