There is everything you’d need available and lots of nice touches including board games and books for all ages in the snug. The wifi was excellent and there is Netflix and Sky tv if you want a night in.

Very comfortable, spacious and well appointed accommodation that was enjoyed by our grownup family. This would only be improved with the addition of EV charging facilities. That said, the owner kindly provided this at their own property following my enquiry about EV charging.

Our dogs (2 Labradors) loved the garden. Kitchen very well equipped and cottage very comfortable. Jody, the very friendly owner, lives next door so available if you need anything. Recommend a walk at Twyford Woods (old RAF air field) for lots of open space for dogs to run around. And a lovely day at Huttoft Beach, much quieter and completely dog friendly!

Everything we needed for our short stay due to husband and son taking part in Europes Toughest Mudder at nearby Belvoir castle. Even had a paddling pool for our two year old twins. We had exceptionally good weather, very hot so we are very glad we took our own fans to use in bedrooms at night, as it was very warm. The cottage was well equipped and was in a quiet little village with a great park for the kids. The welcome basket was a lovely surprise.

Great location, quiet and very, very well furnished and appointed. The owner has really thought of everything. There was a substantial welcome basket waiting for us with wine, bread, butter and cheese. There was also plenty of storage both for clothing and foodstuffs. We loved the huge American style fridge/freezer. The heating too was excellent. It’s also close to a rail link and the wonderful Heckington Windmill. Can’t recommend this cottage highly enough. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks Jody and family.

Cosy nights in and beautiful winter walks. The cottage had absolutely everything you could possibly need and more. Our children absolutely loved it and the play park in the village was such a bonus too. The host of the cottage kindly left a gift basket which was such a lovely touch. There was so many places to visit in driving distance too, but our toddler and 3 year old were more than happy to stay in the house, garden and play with toys and games from the snug, that we sometimes we struggled to get them into the car for a day out exploring. Our 3 year old son enjoyed himself that much he keeps asking, 'when are we going back to the beautiful, precious house?' Thank you so much for letting us create such happy memories, we cannot wait to book again.
