“As your records will show, we ...”

As your records will show, we always travel with Sykes simply because in over ten years only one holiday accommodation did not meet our expectations (dirty). Even then Sykes were very quick to inform the owner of the lodge in question who returned some of our fee. In addition to this I had a personal apology from Sykes and a voucher off our next holiday. This year we booked with Sykes for the fourth time in "Tattershall Country Park" We found that the booking system was fast easy and efficient. We have, over the years, come to trust Sykes when booking our holiday, wether it be a lodge, cottage or apartment. I recommend sykes holidays to anyone who is thinking of booking a holiday, we will be booking our future breaks with this company in the knowledge that our booking is being handled in a professional manner.

The property

This fantastic, detached lodge is located on a no through road in a quiet, tranquil corner of the Tattershall Lakes Park, within a woodland setting overlooking the fishing lake and Lysander Island.

The lodge is set within over 350 acres of woodland, parkland and lakes, offering an excellent range of on-site activities with a pool, golf, entertainment complex, spa, beach area and water ski lake, not to mention the woodland walking trails and cycling.

This superbly presented lodge offers a lovely open plan living area with a sitting area, dining table and kitchen area enjoying unspoilt views over your private decking and beyond to the lake.

The sitting room is ideal for relaxing with a movie, and on warmer evenings why not throw open the patio doors and enjoy the great outdoors, sit out on the decking, or slip into the hot tub and relax in style!

A door from the sitting room takes you directly to the three bedrooms; a double bedroom with a Jack-and-Jill bathroom and two twin rooms which share a family shower room.

Staying at this lodge has the advantage of being just a short walk from the communal swimming pool, spa and gym.

Close by on the edge of the park, there is a pub serving excellent pub grub or take a walk in to the village for some more choice.

There is plenty to do on-site but if you wanted to explore the area, take a drive or a cycle to some of the popular market towns nearby.

The beautiful cathedral city of Lincoln is a short drive away, where you can enjoy its winding medieval streets with a wide selection of shops, cafés, restaurants and bars.

This really is a perfect lodge for enjoying a tranquil, relaxing stay with an excellent range of activities on your doorstep for all the family.
