Log burner for the dark evenings, a very comfy bed! excellent, central location for exploring Lincolnshire. Eva was around and was very nice! At the end of the phone if needed. Definately would stay again or at one of the other properties available to hire.

The setting of Panton is very peaceful. Short drive to supermarkets, approximately 15 minutes. A beautifully decorated cottage with great a wide range of kitchen equipment. The log burner and main bedroom are spectacular. The very large garden would be excellent for younger children. Very peaceful. Would highly recommend.

We're relatively new to taking a baby away with us and really appreciated all the equipment left for us (changing mat, a bath etc). The kitchen was well equipped and we loved our time spent in the garden having a BBQ. As tired parents to a busy baby, we were so grateful for a lovely, large and comfy bed (in a huge bedroom) and slept so well in it. We left feeling so grateful for a lovely, restful week here.

Eva was very friendly and welcoming with excellent knowledge of the area and lots of tips on places to visit and where to eat and was quick to respond to any issues. We woulld certainly stay here again. I personally enjoyed walking the surrounding lanes, taking in the local wildlife. On a practical note, being at the senior end of the age range, I felt the lock-box for the keys was positioned rather low (for my knees) and the fridge was quite low and on the small side. My wife and I managed well with the shower but larger framed folk might find it a bit tight. Other than that, the cottage ticked all the boxes wonderfully well.

  • "Very comfortable."

Bed also very comfortable. It would have been nice to have a dish washer for added convenience. The waste disposal in the area is disappointing as food waste is not collected separately. We had a lot of bottles and brought them back with us as were not sure how to dispose of them. A larger fridge would be handy as the fridge is under the kitchen surface and this was a bit back breaking and not large enough for our needs. On the whole the rooms were large and spaceous, the cottage was warm and comfortable. On arrival, the downstairs lights were not working and we had to speak to the charming owner who offered to come and check, however I was able to check the fuse box and found it had tripped. Had it been a late arrival this could have been an issue. A very peaceful and beautiful area. A car is a must as there are no amenities nearby. Although there might have been building work taking place, we never heard a thing!

It is spacious and well equipped with a large kitchen, huge living room and main bedroom. We much appreciated the plum loaf and milk which were left for us and the eggs which were offered during our week's holiday. The friendly owners are on site and available if needed but have organised the garden very well so that you have your own large, private outside space. A dishwasher would have been a bonus, plus a bigger fridge, but neither of these minor issues would deter us from booking this cottage again - it was superb. The surrounding area has much to offer, including historic Lincoln. The cottage is close to great walking country - The Wolds, and for cyclists, it is only a 15-minute drive to the Water Rail Way - a lovely off-road trail alongside the River Witham which takes you to Lincoln in one direction and Woodhall Spa in the other.

It's in a lovely and peacefully remote location and all you can hear are the sounds of the birds singing throughout the day. When we arrived there was some milk in the fridge and greeted with a lovely plum loaf which didn't make it to the end of the day. The cottage itself was just amazing, well equipped and we fell in love with it. Plenty of space for our needs. We were a family of four including two young children. We had a couple of requests (we didn't want to bring more gear than we needed) such as a child gate, high chair etc which Eva kindly provided. Eva and Bill were amazing hosts and went above and beyond. We arrived with our 16-month-old feeling ill and we needed some Calpol. Eva saved the day within just a couple of hours of our arrival. Thank you :) We were blessed with amazing weather whilst we were there which allowed the children to enjoy the fenced off garden space everyday which they loved and Eva had left a slide and a drive in car for the children to play with whilst there. There's a really informative and useful welcome pack which we used most days to help plan our days out. We would definitely recommend this cottage and we hope to return soon.

Eva and Bill were super hosts, most welcoming and responded positively to any suggestion made. The weather was a bit unpredictable but we managed to have drinks and dinner one night in the covered gazebo overlooking the fields and sunset. Wonderful! Eva and Bill are super hosts, they are on-site and there to offer help and information if you should need them but not in your space. The main bedroom here is cavernous, the bed huge, lovely white bed linen and super comfy. I looked forward to going to bed whilst we were there. The kitchen is very well equipped and works well whilst cooking and dining. The lounge was another super large area with log burner, not that we used it as the house was toasty enough for us. Outside has ample parking for three vehicles, safe and secure with gates to shut. Lots of walking from the house on quiet minor roads. Lots of pheasants, buzzards and hedgerows full of life. Eva and Bill put up external Christmas lights, a Christmas tree and decorations for inside the property which made it feel like home. We really loved everything about our time at Warren House Cottage under difficult circumstances, the extra little touches made all the difference to us and are thankful for their kindness.

It is decorated beautifully and all comforts are provided. The information pack left by the owners provides very useful information on local shops and restaurants and we were able to find everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It was the end of October when we visited and the wood burner was a very welcome treat at the end of a cold day out. The owners had left a small supply of logs for the first night and we bought our own from Mole Country Store in Market Rasen for the rest of the week. (The central heating works perfectly fine though so you don't need to light the burner if you don't want to.) I really can't think of anything negative to say about the place and would have no hesitation to book again. Local recommendations - The Corn Dolly cafe in Wragby, Wisby Butchers in Wragby, Lincoln Cathedral, The Bubble Car Museum in Boston, Seven Districts Coffee Roasters just outside Lincoln.

Top quality furnishings and lovely comfy bed. To make it perfect for us would have been a much bigger fridge and perhaps a dishwasher ( only because we can’t survive without one at home ! ) Was lovely to sit outside ( yes in October !!) and watch the sun set from the garden gazebo whilst enjoying a chilled glass of wine. Managed to get out and about every day and visit all the surrounding areas. Struggled to pick up any tourist information on walks which was completely our fault as we should have got organised better before we left home so had to rely on our iPhones which wasn’t ideal. Due to the current situation a lot of shops were closed and even local libraries were unable to give us any printed information which was a pity. All in all a lovely break.

It felt like the owners had thought of all the little details to make it feel homely and comfortable, from the milk in the fridge so we could have a cuppa when we arrived, to the umbrella in the porch in case it rained. Stayed here with our two year old, and the owners were really helpful in providing some useful baby kit such as a travel cot, high chair, baby bath and plastic cutlery which saved us bringing it. We visited Rand Farm Park at the recommendation of the very friendly owner; our boys loved it there and it is only down the road. Also twice visited the beach they recommended, which was a straightforward 50 minute drive away. Went to Chambers Farm Wood nearby and Hartsholme Country Park in Lincoln, which were both great to explore. Set in beautiful and very peaceful surroundings, it is between 45-60 minutes drive from the coast or into Lincoln to explore the city. There is also lots to do nearby for families with children of all ages or couples. The cottage itself if well-equipped with everything you could possibly need, has a large sitting room and spacious kitchen and bedrooms. The owners are really friendly and are on hand should you need any advice or help before or during your stay. For us it is the little things that really matter and this cottage has lots of those added finishing touches. We particularly enjoyed sitting out on the picnic bench and enjoying a bbq but I imagine the log burning fire would be equally tempting in the colder months. The owner has also put together a helpful file with local information and even a history of the cottage as well as appliances guides for ease of use. There is a post office nearby for essentials and it is a 10 minute drive to the nearest convenience store. There is a farm and wildlife park within 15 minutes drive and we thoroughly enjoyed these. We were visiting this area as we had a family event close by the previous weekend and were due to attend a friend's wedding in Lincoln the following weekend, so we were looking for a quiet location to have some "chill out" time in the intervening period. The cottage provided that and the area itself was lovely. Sadly, due to the coronovirus, the wedding was cancelled and in line with Government advice about social distancing and non essential travel we reluctantly decided to cut short our holiday and return home early.
