The open plan living area consists of a kitchen, dining area and sitting area, and on sunny afternoons guests can enjoy the attractive views of the river from the small balcony.

The quirky arrangement of gardens in this typical Welsh village means that the enclosed, lawned garden at this Aberarth cottage is located over the quiet road, and accessed via a path, offering guests a local, friendly experience and a taste of village life.

A stroll through the village will bring you to the coastal path, and to a beautiful, almost-forgotten stony beach that is often desolate, other than intrepid surfers and dog walkers.

Scenic walks and cycle rides can be enjoyed from the doorstep of your cottage in Aberarth, and you can explore the history of this region with a visit to the village church to see the Hogsback Stone, which legend tells us is a gravestone of a Viking.

This holiday home is also opposite a water mill, and a nearby path takes you past an original woollen mill up the River Arth to the ruins of Arth Castle.
