  • "Excellent facilities for a family group to get together."

Ages from 10 months to 89 yrs. something for everyone. Glorious sandy beach 5 minutes walk through the sand dunes. Supermarket for all supplies just 10 mins away in Tywyn which also has a long promenade on sea front for those who prefer not to walk on sand. The house has plenty of space and ground floor apartment fully wheelchair accessible. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to get together for a family occasion.

  • "Spacious house - room for all 12 of us in comfort."

Very well equipped with everything you need to cook for a large group. Beds are very comfortable and the en suites to each room were invaluable.

  • "Brodawel is a very well-equipped house with ample space for a houseful of adults and children, and enough televisions to allow children's games, football watching, and watching anything else but football (!"

). We had a couple of snags which were dealt with immediately. Access to the beach is simple and quick, and it is a lovely beach. It provides a way to walk into Aberdyfi without going on the road, and a bigger leg stretch to Tywyn. For the fit, there are paths running up the hills behind the house. A great place for a family holiday.

  • "The location of this property was excellent and it was amazing to have the sea so near."

The property was well equipped and accommodated our large family. The owners responded promptly to questions . The house was clean but there is room for improvement. I found many of the kitchen utensils not as clean as I would have liked. At the end of the holiday it was annoying to have to wait for the dishwasher to finish to empty it before we left. This is not a high spec property and on that basis I did not feel it was value for money despite the fantastic location. That said, our large family enjoyed it a lot.

  • "We had a brilliant week celebrating a significant birthday."

Our party of 13 had ages ranging from 18 months to a sprightly 82 year old and spanned 4 generations. All family members were more than comfortable with all the facilities available and there was no feeling that anyone had a lesser room as all were delightful and unique in their decor and bathroom facilities. Such a beautiful part of Wales too, lots to do. I'm already dreaming of our next opportunity to return.

  • "We are a group of writers and artists who have stayed at Brodawel before and never been disappointed in the quality, comfort and location of the house."

We feel welcome, and know from experience that the owners will respond quickly to any problems. We always leave hoping to return! We book through Sykes because it's so easy, and allows us to pay a small deposit to secure the house well in advance, then save for the final payment a few weeks before we stay.

Brodawel House exceeded all my expectations, I could not have been more pleased. We celebrated my husbands 70 birthday, and children. grandchildren and friends all had comfortable bedroom ensuites and the main areas were big enough and alllowed us all to do our own thing without being on top of each other. We had two dogs with us so the walk to the beach was invaluable. We hope to do it again next year.

Would like to go back in summer when we could make good use of outdoor bbq area. Huge sandy beach across road thriugh the sand dunes. Aberdovey centre 15 mins walk. Train station 10 min walk. Plenty of off road parking. We had 5 cars and plenty if space. Ground floor apartment is genuinely wheelchair accessible but still part of house. Definitely recommend
