  • "We have stayed here twice now and have got to say we have loved this cottage both times."

The cleanliness is top notch. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need and more. The bed is very Comfortable with a lovely thick duvet. The lounge has 2 comfy settees. It’s the little things that make the difference too, like the cleaning items that are left for you, the dishwasher tablets, the washing up liquid. Kitchen towel. There was milk in the fridge , tea coffee sugar and cakes left for us. A really lovely touch. It’s like home from home. I can’t recommend this cottage enough.

Thank-you for your kind feedback. It is very much appreciated that you have noticed how hard we work in these difficult times. Take care. Property Owner

The property was clean and comfortable and had more than enough kitchen utensils. Staircases fitted and there were facilities for children ie travel cot and bed guard should you need them. Would stay again.

  • "Chestnut Cottage is a really lovely holiday home."

The rooms are very spacious and beautifully furnished. Kitchen has plenty of utensils, crockery and cutlery. The garden looks out over a paddock and so nice to sit out on the garden furniture watching the horses grazing and admiring the many feathered friends that came visiting. Many places of interest within driving distance including Aberystwyth approx. 8 away. My partner and I met Lindsey who manages the cottages, such a nice friendly lady always on hand to answer any queries but never intrusive. My only criticism is that the lower half of the stable door leading into the garden is rather stiff to open and perhaps some form of lighting above the garden door would be nice for those of us who are smokers and wish to enjoy a ciggy before retiring for the night. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chestnut and what's more we were lucky with the weather, sunshine every day!

  • "Lovely, very well equipped cottage."

There was a problem with the boiler which the owner tried to resolve and the shower wasn't in use but we were informed before our stay. Would go again if the problems were resolved.

  • "We had a really lovely stay at Chestnut cottage."

Great location, property was homely and clean with all amenities. The homemade cake on arrival was delicious and coffee, tea and milk supplies appreciated. There was a fault with the boiler whilst there on our second night which affected heating and hot water but this was dealt with really quickly. Heaters were supplied that evening within minutes and plumbers called out for the following day. We were kept informed throughout the day on the situation and luckily it was all fixed by our return from a day out. The communication and service was excellent. We would happily stay again.

Thank-you. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again in the future Sarah and Family Property Owner
