“Well, what a lovely cottage the Chestnut cottage is!”
We loved the living area, so spacious, the table seated six with plenty of room. Our 14 month old enjoyed playing hide and seek in the house there were plenty of places to hide and room for him to explore! We absolutely loved the little playhouse in the 'children's garden' outside. So so adorable and plenty for children to do in there. Also lots of thought gone into providing games/DVDs/Books for all ages. Area was also lovely, horses in the field behind the house, at the end of the drive, turn right and over the bridge there is a river with walks. Further afield Aberystwyth is lovely for castle ruins on the sea front, Hafod Estate is an absolute must for those who enjoy walking, forests, waterfalls and generally beautiful scenery (Even in the rain I might add, since it rained every day we were there)! Devils Bridge was nice also but do note that there are also lovely waterfalls at Hafod Estate which you can access for free/£2 for map. This cottage was such a homely place to return to each day.
