  • "Our stay at Hendy was everything we could have asked for, superb cottage with excellent facilities, comfy beds with good quality linen and superb views from the upstairs dining room and kitchen."

    The whole cottage was spotless and had everything required for a relaxing stay. The location was convenient for visiting the many amazing beaches just a short drive away. We had wonderful weather and spent lazy afternoons in the beautiful mature garden. We shall definitely be back next year, thank you Nick for a wonderful holiday

    More accurate travel direction to the property travelling from Pwhheli would be about one mile from petrol station not two miles, and turning into narrow lane opposite bus stop.

  • "This is a delightful place to stay."

    All of the rooms are a generous size and the views from the upper level are amazing both at sun rise and sun set. The location is convenient for visiting local tourist hot spots and the owner was very friendly and helpful during our stay. If you are looking for places to eat on your doorstep then perhaps this is not the place for you but we are happy in the kitchen cooking for ourselves so I'm sure we will visit again and would highly recommend this holiday home.

The property

Nestled on the outskirts of the thriving coastal town of Pwllheli, in Wales, is this stunning, semi-detached, stone cottage.

Hendy has a wonderfully decorated interior, with a lovely light decor and spacious rooms giving that home-from-home vibe the moment you walk through the door.

The property offers accommodation, with one upstairs king size bedroom and two-ground floor bedrooms, consisting of one king size bedroom and a twin , ideal for friends and families.

Each bedroom has been equipped with plush beds, a range of modern furniture and boasts lovely views across the rolling countryside.

There is a ground-floor family bathroom and a first-floor family shower room to accompany the bedrooms, with quality fixtures and fittings for your comfort.

Follow the steps up to the first floor which houses a lovely dining area come living room, with a small sofa and a TV in case you want to enjoy some quiet time, as well as a large dining table for those family gatherings.

There is a separate sitting room which boasts a lovely electric fire for those chillier winter months, with two large sofas to curl up on and unwind into the evening.

Explore the gardens outside, or take a refreshing drink out to bathe in the sun during the summer months.

Visit the Glasfryn Activity Parc with your little ones and treat them to a fun-filled day at this activity centre, offering cable wakeboarding, go karting, junior quad biking, as well as ten pin bowling and archery, so much to get involved with, you won't want to leave!

Discover Pwllheli beach, less than two miles away, where you can spend the afternoon sunbathing, swimming or even surfing!

Pwllheli is within driving distance of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park for a plethora of country sites to explore.

Whilst the nearby Llyn Coastal Path is the perfect opportunity for those keen walkers, hikers and cyclists, and popular for birdwatching and photography.

Abersoch 6 miles; Criccieth 8 miles.

This busy market town is the unofficial capital of the Llyn Peninsula which is one of the most scenic regions of Wales, renowned for its outstanding scenery, stunning coastal walks, excellent beaches and golf courses.
