  • "A lovely property, had a great stay and we were really comfortable there."

Very well kitted out, spacious for the 8 of us and there were lots of nice touches. Our daughter used the old school desks on the landing for some colouring. The view from the outdoor table was lovely and we did an Easter egg hunt in the garden area near the table. The 3 kids were able to be in the same room together and really enjoyed that. Didn't meet the owner Donna but she was really nice and helpful over the phone. We'd happily stay there again if in the area.

Comfortable, well-equipped and good space inside. Outside, fantastic views and a garden where the children could play and we could barbecue, eat and sit out surrounded by big skies, birdsong and nature. An ideal location for touring and walking in a beautiful part of Britain. Also, a very helpful and very accommodating owner. All in all, a brilliant stay.

The layout of the barn is perfect for a family & our dog. The kitchen had every facility & all the equipment needed to prepare & cook our family Christmas lunch. The owners decorated the barn delightfully - it looked so Christmasy & homely. Donna & John provided us with local meat & eggs, which were of the most excellent quality. • "Wow! What a beautiful and quaint property."

The owners have stocked this cottage up with so many quirky additions to make the house an excellent comforting experience. The views were stunning and most places are within a 20min drive away. Be aware that this property is situated very much “in the valleys” down a one track lane for a good few miles but it is well worth the jaunt. We would definitely return!
