Immaculately clean and nice little touches e.g welsh cake milk in the fridge and x2 pre stamped postcards. Would definitely book again

  • "Had a wonderful weekend in this immaculate and beautifully furnished, compact cottage."

Hidden away off the high street, this ancient stone property has provided us with the perfect base to access beach, hills, shops, bars and restaurants. Sad to have left so soon.

  • "Fabulous cottage."

Avery welcoming with lovely touches as the biscuits and postcards. Only downside was the temporary roadworks which caused a problem for loading up at the end of our stay. Would definitely return to and recommend this cottage.

  • "The cottage was finished to a high spec with lovely furnishings."

However, having no windows made it very claustrophobic so much so, we left 2 days early.

  • "Hard to fault the cottage."

Much more spacious that the photos imply. Excellent cottage conversion with brilliant craftship of the all the fixtures and fittings. Was very pricey is the only gripe.

Beautifully clean and ideally located in the middle of Barmouth just minutes from harbour, beach and nice restaurants. Perfect for a walking and wild swimming holiday. Really hope to be back. Thank you very much.

  • "Lovely little cottage conversion in the heart of the town."

Spotlessly clean with very welcome cake, bread and milk on arrival. Fully fitted with latest smart TV and broadband. Good shower, bed up the steep handmade steps a little adventure. And Barmouth is such a good base for exploring South Snowdonia. Highly recommended.

  • "Our 2nd stay in this fabulous cottage was even better than the 1st!"

We couldn't imagine staying anywhere else in Barmouth, a perfect holiday home. Also looks like the owners have responded to all little suggestions in the guest book which is great!! There were even more useful bits and pieces in the house (cafetiere!!). Already planning our next visit.

  • "The cottage could not have been more perfect!"

To be so close to everything, yet still feel we had such a secluded spot was brilliant. The cottage was clean and comfy (especially the bed, we slept like kings), and there was milk, tea bags, good coffee and welsh cakes left for us! We are already planning our return. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

  • "Beautiful renovation to cottage."

The downside, futon cushion as bed, very uncomfortable and not fit for purpose, three nights no sleep. Lack of bedding so also cold, parking for car is five mins walk away, would be a concern in busy months. Poor customer service from Sykes not interested in my complaint referred to it as feedback.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Glan Meon is a much loved cottage and the Owner who, as you know, lives close by, would have been happy to rectify any issue had you raised it with her during your stay. It is of paramount importance to her that guests have an enjoyable stay and has taken your feedback on board and replaced the mattress. Property Owner

The photos don't do the place justice. Great location. The bed was a little uncomfortable, but we would definately recommend this cottage and would love to stay again.

The cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay & our dog settled in right away. The owner was fab and gave us tons of recommendations which were super helpful, especially the ones about getting to Snowdon early. Cannot wait time visit again!
