A short walk into Barmouth Centre. The enclosed yard was a suntrap with acceptable plastic furniture. Parking space for 2 cars. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The added bonus was the free WiFi. The kitchen was well equipped with all mode cons. The dinning room was an added bonus, that we didn't need to use, due to the good weather and sitting outside for meals. The Caretaker left us milk, tea, coffee and sugar to start us off, which was a nice gesture. Improvements could be made by: Repairing the bathroom floor, which felt unstable in places. The outside shed on the parking area could do with knocking down or replacing. The concrete edging slabs, that serve no purpose could do with removing, to give more manoeuvre for reversing on and off. All in all, we were happy with the accommodation.

The beds and pillows are so comfortable we slept really well. There is everything you need and very clean. As we came by train it was only a short walk from Railway Station and town easy walk for two 70+ year olds. appreciated the shopping trolley came in very handy, great touch. We would definitely stay at Heulwen again.
