  • “The owner was welcoming and friendly without being obtrusive and the location provided outstanding views of the Shropshire hills.”

Close to the Welsh border, we explored both Wales and the area around Shrewsbury. Shrewsbury itself was a delight.

The property

Ministerly 4 miles.

This semi detached cottage is located near the village of Hope boasting distant views of Bromlow Callow Hill.

Bring along your family and friends with much to explore at your own leisure.

The first room you come to is the sitting room, home to an inviting woodburning stove and featuring traditional ceiling beams.

Three steps down; the second sitting room houses a corner dining table, where you can enjoy your favourite meals before taking an afternoon break and reading a good book on the comfortable sofa.

Countryside views tie the space together well, perfect for spending time admiring the rolling hills.

Across the way, a family bathroom is neatly decorated, ideal for getting ready in the morning, or unwinding at night time.

The kitchen compliments the property style well, again matched with characterful beams and a stone wall.

Take the stairs where you will arrive at a twin bedroom with lovely views of the countryside.

The accommodation is completed by a super king-size bedroom with an en-suite.

On a pleasant afternoon, you can sit outside in the enclosed garden, which is home to a pond as a soothing extra.

With walks on your doorstep, the village of Minsterley has a shop and Post Office and an excellent fish and chip shop.

Whilst Pontesbury is just one mile away with its restaurants, Arscott Golf Club and Springlea Fishing Pools.

Further afield, Shrewbury has much to offer from a museum to festivals.

Everything you need for a memorable stay.
