The cottage is very spacious, well furnished and immaculately clean. Great views from the patio doors overlooking the valley with the mountains in the distance. We really enjoyed this very peaceful location with such a variety of birds, including the Red Kite. Thanks Karen and Roger for making us welcome on arrival with tea and Welsh cakes.

  • "The owners were very welcoming and helped us feel very comfortable in the property."

The views from the cottage are amazing and we spent many lazy mornings just enjoying the view and watching the cows, sheep and other wildlife in the field adjacent to the property. The cottage really invited us to relax and it is a great place for a family to spend the holidays. There are many places and activities in the area - amazing lakes, waterfalls, and walks. There is something to make everyone happy!

  • "Lovely cottage in a beautiful location."

This was a family holiday with our two children and they loved the cottage and the particular highlight was the cows and sheep that would wander in the farmland at the back of the cottage. It is centrally located for mid Wales so everything is accessible with driving.

  • "Wonderful, friendly hosts, cosy comfortable and very roomy cottage."

Spectacular views. So peaceful. It is much bigger than the photos show, well thought out and considered home from home. A washing machine would be a great addition. Otherwise everything you could possibly need. We had a fabulous stay, didn’t want to leave and would definitely stay there again.

  • "The cottage was stunning and the photographs really don't do it justice!"

The owners were extremely warm and friendly. They greeted us on arrival and gave all the necessary information plus hints/tips on where to visit during our stay. The cottage was immaculately clean and so peaceful and quiet. There is no wifi, however there is a decent phone signal. The area is beautiful and fine to go for walks right from your doorstep. We visited Elan Valley whilst we were there which is a great day out. If we do go back to mid-Wales, we would definitely look to stay here again. Perfect.

Karen and Roger were both very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable about the area, offering plenty of recommendations for places to go and things to do. The property exceeded our expectations and offered a home from home feeling with amazing views. We were extremely lucky to have the sunshine throughout our stay in September and be able to make the most of the outdoor area too. The property offered comfort in all aspects we couldn't ask for anything more. You have both created a small haven and should be proud of what you have achieved.
