  • "Only minor point directions only give a post code to end of the drive."

Correct if using a sat nav but not if using google maps. We ended up 20 mins away. Thanks to a friendly pub landlord for actual directions turn left until you get to church etc. Owners on site very friendly and helpful for places to visit, lots of extra touches in kitchen, foil etc

  • "We had a great week at Cherry Cottage and after spending a week in the North we found Mid Wales to be equally beautiful with more great places to visit."

Cherry Cottage is a great base to explore mid Wales and Pembrokeshire. The cottage is fantastic with all the facilities you need and has a lot of outside space to relax in as well as the lovely hot tub and is very comfy my wife was very impressed on how lovely the cottage smelt. Lesley and Les are the perfect hosts being very friendly and helpful during our stay and the extensive welcome pack was much appreciated. I would highly recommend Cherry Cottage and we hope to return soon.

The welcome pack was much appreciated, as were all the extras such as dishwasher tablets, soap etc. Everything had been thought of! The hot tub was also a real bonus. Les and Lesley were super hosts - most welcoming and always had plenty of suggestions of places to visit in the area. Would definitely recommend.

Now last but certainly not least, the owner Les and Leslie were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them.

  • "The cottage was lovely and welcoming and the welcome pack was nice upon arrival."

We didn't want to go too far from home and the place was easy to find and we knew all the local amenities in the area but I thought the folder in the cottage was really useful for people who are not so familiar with the area. Having the hot tub in the shed was really good for us as we didn't have the best of weather but were still able to relax in the hot tub after a day of gloomy weather. I would maybe suggest a tour of the site on arrival as we weren't sure on where the laundry room/ bins were situated but other than that it was a lovely weekend in a lovely location.

  • "It was our first visit to Mid Wales and we have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it even when we got soaked through at the botanical gardens during a bird of prey demonstration."

The scenery in Wales is outstanding. Our boat trip in Cardigan was rather choppy but good fun even though we are in our 70s and the path to get on the boat a bit precarious. What can we say about Cherry Cottage but excellent, Les and Lesley were very helpful and care very much that everyone has a good experience while they stay there. Everything you need is provided and the standards are very high, all information about the surrounding area places to go and places to eat are provided. A truly enjoyable holiday even when the weather was not kind to us.

  • "One of the best cottages we have stayed in over the years."

..in fact the best cottage!!! Very clean and tidy and had everything we needed including a nice warm dressing gown each after a soak in the hot tub. The hot tub itself was to a high standard, just a shame the weather was not the best for us to appreciate sitting outside but that couldn’t be helped. Nice welcome basket on arrival which included a bottle of red wine which went down a treat. The owners of the cottages were very welcoming and helpful when needed. Maybe the only thing that I think I would add is some movies/DVD’s for nights when the tv is not at its best and you just want to chill, especially when you have a family of film buffs like us! :) I would definitely recommend to friends and family for a nice quiet break away and would stay again. Five star quality in my books!
