“We had such a wonderful stay at Bryn Goleu, 4 couples and a friend tagged along!”

We arrived early afternoon after a 5.5 hour drive from Essex to find tea, coffee, milk, cakes & a bottle of Prosecco to help us get settled in. That honestly made all the difference, as we didn't want to have to rush back out the door for refreshments when we had no idea where anything was yet! ...

We weren't too sure about what to get up to when we arrived in Wales, apart from booking to go to so the zip wire the day after we arrived. Penrhyn Quarry was only 1 hour 15 mins drive away with beautiful views along the way. We had news of bad weather incoming so we also squeezed in a bit of the Watkin Path on Snowdonia the same day. Typical wales weather meant that our third day was spent playing queen monopoly that we'd brought along & some of the other games available to us. The kitchen was the perfect size for us to all eat together and plenty of pots, pans & utensils available to us to cook anything we wanted, which meant we ate a lot of great food having a chef in the party! On the last day, we popped to Barmouth on the coast and walked along the rail bridge, did some trails, shopping & lunch. All in all, plenty to do in the area and we had such a great stay, I'd highly recommend this house to stay in for anyone looking to visit Snowdonia national park! Thanks again Brian & Delyth :) x
