“Yet again, regardless of dreadful weather, the family all had a wonderful week at Bryan Eglwys.”

The house is so spacious and comfortable, easily accommodating the six adults and three young children. The added bonus of good sized bedrooms and the games room gave everyone space to be quiet, yet the large open plan living area brings everyone together. The house is so spacious and comfortable, easily accommodating the six adults and three young children. The added bonus of good sized bedrooms and the games room gave everyone space to be quiet, yet the large open plan living area brings everyone together. This year, because of the weather, we had to enjoy the wonderful sea view from inside, unlike last year when we had the opportunity to use the full size balcony and garden. Everyone made the most of their week, cycling, running, fishing, walking for the grown ups. Trip to a farm, the alternative energy centre, steam train rides and dodging the rain in Barmouth amusement arcade the children. A very enjoyable week was had by all. The house makes a wonderful centre for the family, from the north, south and east to meet up. We would love to return.

The cottage

This beautiful detached cottage is situated in the village of Llwyngwril, resting in an elevated coastal location.

Bring everyone along on this fabulous holiday adventure, with the retreat being perfect for families, extended families, or a group of friends.

Enter into the open plan living area, filled with natural lighting and elevated by views of the patio area and beyond.

The nearby dining area is ideal for gathering with your loved ones and planning your upcoming adventures in front of the warming wood burner after the sun has gone down.

For an eventful evening, the games room promises to keep the children entertained for hours, home to an air hockey table and table football, as well as a darts board.

All those extras you may need are tucked away here, including a cot and highchair.

Close by, a king-size bedroom boasts plenty of charm, with bedside tables and a freestanding mirror, along with patio doors that open out to a private courtyard.

Neighbouring this, a single bedroom is great for children, complete with a pull-out bed for an extra guest.

A classic shower room and cloakroom also lie on the ground floor for your convenience.

Take the stairs up to two elegant bedrooms, the first is a double with an en-suite bathroom and the second comes as a twin, with an en-suite shower room.

You will be spoilt for choice come night time, with each room being just as calming as the next.

Make the most of the desirable location, perhaps, alfresco dining on the patio, or simply enjoying a refreshing drink admiring the far-reaching views.

Llwyngwril has your interests at heart with its golden beaches, walking opportunities and an abundance of wildlife.

Further afield, discover the renowned towns of Tywyn, Dolgellau and Aberdovey, and visit the magnificent sights of medieval Harlech Castle and the Snowdonia National Park, all within a short drive.
