The cottage is so clean and comfortable

  • "The place itself was beutiful and well furnished."

The location is stunningly beutiful with great views of the mountains and hills from the outside and a cozy inside. the owner greeted us as we parked up and was very helpful and when we entered the property had a lovely basket with some tea, welsh tea bread and even some milk. It was so cozy and warm and our stay was fantastic. If I had to say anything about an improvement then it would be driving back to the place in the dark it can be hard to see so maybe a sign or something might be helpful but thats nit picking. overall a great stay

  • "The owners very helpful and friendly."

Ideal cottage for two - with high standard of decoration and everything you need. Weather was very hot during our stay and owners thoughtfully provided a fan. In a good location for exploring North Wales on both the north and west coasts.

  • "Peaceful location and off-road parking adjacent to the cottage."

All the facilities you may need and (unlike many cottages for two) plenty of space for shoes, bags and coats; plus laundry facilities (to share with other two properties) and secure storage for bikes.

Rhys and Gwenith the owners of Y Dowlod were lovely, offering info on the local area, for the sights and activities. The accommodation they offer was beautiful, character and charm on the outside and tastefully modern on the inside. We could not ask for more.

Property had all of the facilities and amenities that we required. Had a great holiday there, shame it wasn't longer!

  • "Ideally situated to explore North Wales and for access to Trawsfynnd lake for fishing."

Owners both very friendly and helpful. Property was spotlessly clean. Reason for stating would not book this property again is that we found the outside access steps quite steep and tricky, especially in wet weather and when carrying luggage up to the property. (We are both in our 70s )However WOULD book one of the two properties adjoining with accommodation on ground floor.
