“The Paddock is a lovely holiday cottage, with a fantastic open plan lounge, kitchen diner (reckon 25’ square or more), and a bathroom for every bedroom.”

The hot tub is great easily big enough for the 5 of us, and the dog loved the private lawn. The cottage had everything we wanted, the washer dryer meant our towels and hot tub clothes were always dry when we needed them. We were about 20 minutes drive from a reasonable sized supermarket - the Coop in Machynlleth, which has the prettiest view from a supermarket car park I’ve ever seen! The coast was about a 50 minute drive with lots of lovely places to go. The weather wasn’t on our side, but ...

The weather wasn’t on our side, but we still got out for nice walks. We were 50 minutes drive from Aberystwyth which is such a pretty town. Due to Covid and having to take the dog everywhere with have us, as dogs are not allowed to be left in the cabin on their own, we struggled to find good quality, dog friendly eateries. The Glengower in Aberystwyth looked lovely but we hadn’t booked ahead and they were full. Avoid the Penrhos Arms at Cammaes If you want good food. The staff were lovely but the food was really bad, microwaves dinners at best. We were happy to cook at home most days though. Overall a lovely place, beautiful cabin and Steve was very friendly & happy to help.
