  • "Isallt was a very homely comfortable house located within easy walking distance to the bus station ."

The disadvantages were the three flight of stairs and the fact that the only toilet and bathroom was located on the first floor . Parking space outside the house would have been most beneficial ,however we were given a parking permit which allowed us to park the car free of charge in the town car park .

  • "Lovely property."

The pictures really don’t do it justice. The information left by the owner was really helpful and didn’t leave much out. The property is on a fairly quite street off the high street with shops, supermarkets and pubs all within walking distance. The added help of the car parking pass for the long stay car parks was a real bonus. The bedrooms are big spacious, genuine, two bed rooms. The living room was really cosy on the 1st floor but we spent virtually all of our time in the ground floor, kitchen diner. The shower works well and the loo, being separate, from the bathroom was a good idea especially as it’s the only WC for the house. Having a fridge freezer as well as a fridge to use, a dishwasher and a washing machine was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again.

  • "The house is a lovely, clean family home, it is very well equiped."

It is spacious, plenty of room for a family with three kids. Location is very good. Close to the sea and the mountains as well. We found a lovely quiet, dog friendly beach at Porth Ceiriad, where we even saw seals and dolphins. Owners were very helpful and easy to reach. I would highly reccommend this accomodation.

  • "We had a great holiday at Isallt, in the warmest week of the year in Wales!"

The four bedrooms are all individually themed, and show the owners’ character, and all the rooms are comfortable and well equipped, we especially enjoyed the garden, which is not done justice by the posting photos, but is a long, thin slice of heaven, with its own outhouse complete with fridge for refreshments. The only small issue we had was there’s only one toilet for as many as eight people, but that just needs careful management. Pwllheli has seen better days I reckon, but has a few gems, namely the great pub 50 yards away, and the town beach for swimming and dog walking, early morning or evening. The towns and villages nearby are well worth an explore, we loved black rock beach (park car on the sand), Portmerion and Abersoch. Overall, a great holiday was had here, we are glad we didn’t try to go abroad now!

  • "Fantastic property with lots of space, homely feel with well stocked kitchen."

Owners attentive and reliable. Only downside one toilet. Good access to all local amenities and private parking a bonus. Our only difficulty was in trying to contact Sykes cottages when we had some issues with a kettle and a breakage, both of which were dealt with swiftly by the owners themselves, who I cannot fault.
