  • "Fabulous place to stay."

They had thought of everything. Very comfortable & convenient for the time. It really is a home away from home. Will definitely stay at again if I am in the area.

  • "A lovely property, clean and warm, beds comfy, walk in shower great."

Poor weather prevented us from sitting out on verandah but on sunnier days we think it would be lovely. Short walk into town and to train station. We used the trains to travel to Aberystwyth, Tywyn, and Welshpool. There was a nearby park for walking the dog but due to exceptional wet Spring it was very muddy. Owners left us a box of treats, bread, milk , eggs, wine, crisps. These were much appreciated. We had a great short break and would definitely come back here again.

It is very clean and comfortable with everything you need for a holiday. The hosts are lovely and respond to any issues immediately. The welcome back is the best we have ever had, home made bread and cakes, eggs, milk, butter plus a lot of extras. Villa is walking distance to the town and good walking around for the dog. It was a shame the weather was not nice enough to sit outside as a nice little patio. I would return if in the area again.

  • "Varley Villa is beautiful."

The photos do not do the property justice. It has the Wow factor and the owners Ross and Trish give it the Wow plus 1. From the moment we arrived we felt at home especially with a welcome hamper including hot home made bread. A beautiful park within 100 metres to walk our dog and the town full of interesting shops, pubs and takeaways. The property is very comfortable, luxurious walk in shower, fully fitted kitchen and a great decking and seating area. Ross and Trish should be extremely proud of the offer and we will remember it for a long time and hope to be back soon. Varley Villa offers great value for money and if you fancy a luxurious property and throw in a friendly town, a park close by with great hosts then this is the place for you. The park offers the opportunity to enjoy the countryside and the cafes close by provide coffee and cakes before heading back to relax. There really is nothing negative to add, the booking is simple and we were provided with all the information we needed to enjoy a great break. Ross and Trish...Thank You

That was just unexpected. The beds were spot on - not too firm or too soft. The shower was fantastic, with more effective temperature and volume controls than those in our house. We also appreciated the fact that the villa was carefully colour-coordinated and wasn't random patchwork. It was a bit tricky for us to locate the cottage on the first day but luckily help was just a phone call away. It was a challenge to lock the door, which required a skill we didn't master during our stay. However, the owners were quick to respond to our questions and requests and did all they could to make our stay comfortable. We felt their warmth and support.

I sent an email back and we managed to get the second week reinstated. However, I asked for you to recommend another property for our first week and you did not respond at all. We therefore paid more than half our original cost for a day less. The lady I dealt with was really lovely but I can't remember her name now. Your online chat staff couldn't book the second week for us so I had to rebook everything online. It would also help if a picture of the drive entrance could be published as we had trouble finding it and had to ring the owners. However, I would recommend the villa.
