“Glynn and Eileen explained how the cottage and the gardens around it were going to be improved over the next few months with a better private garden area, seperate parking and a new kitchen.”
We will try to get back next year as we love the peace and quiet of Waun Cottage, the fresh air and wonderful walks. We also had a multitude of birds feeding right outside the window and red kites swooping around the sky on a couple of days. Would also recommend 'The Triangle Inn' in Rhayader - we had a great birthday lunch in there.
“Set all on it's own, but surrounded by beautiful countryside of Welsh Hills.”
A lovely spot for peace and quiet, with easy access to place of interest plus numerous walks from the door or elsewhere. Would certainly return if going to the same area.
“A very friendly welcome, then we were regularly asked whether everything was OK for the rest of the stay.”
Nothing was too much trouble. The cottage itself is situated with unbelievable views, surrounded by loads of great places to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our week there. Will now have to get used to traffic noise again, after hearing only birdsong. Thanks :)
“We were very happy with our stay and the views from the house were amazing!”
So quiet and to be able to walk or cycle from the door was really relaxing. Would go again definitely.

“We had a brilliant stay in the cottage.”
Wish we had stayed here before as we would have booked again next year. Sadly we cannot as the cottage is not being rented again. We were well looked after and the owners could not have been more friendly and helpful. We loved seeing all the birds and the owners dog was so friendly. Would have liked to visit the Red Kite feeding station. but sadly it is closed on Thursday and Friday. But we did see quite a few from the car.

Kids enjoyed throughout the stay. The owners welcomed us warmly and friendly. We recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to have a nice relax holiday in countryside.
