The immediate countryside is a haven for wildlife with red kites, harriers and buzzards flying all around and from the garden there are spectacular views of Bird Rock (the most inland nesting area for cormorants in the UK), Cader Idris and Cardigan Bay, all making this a perfect location for walking, mountain biking, fishing, birdwatching, horseriding, watersports golf and is ideal for star gazing enthusiasts.

Nearby, is the seaside town of Tywyn, home of the famous Talyllyn Railway and within 8 miles is the delightful harbour village of Aberdovey with its quaint streets, restaurants, lovely harbour front and sandy beach.

Llanegryn is a small, quiet village located in the beautiful Dysynni Valley, in the south of the Snowdonia National Park. Llanegryn is only 4 miles from the bustling coastal town of Tywyn, home of the wonderful Talyllyn Narrow Gauge Steam Railway, whose 7 mile track travels along one of the most majestic settings in the UK, including the stunning Talyllyn Lake which lies at the foot of Mount Cader Idris (2899’). Tywyn’s long sandy beach is a favourite for families and is very popular for water sports, especially surfing. A further 4 miles away is the charming seaside village of Aberdovey with its quiet streets and squares of houses behind its busy seafront; the wide beach is renowned for sailing, sailboarding, fishing, boat trips and an excellent 18 hole championship golf course.
