  • "Absolutely lovely cottage warm and cosy and full of character."

fully equipped kitchen with everything you need. extremely comfortable beds. a very peaceful spot to stay in a very nice location. Poor mobile reception but having the included Wi-Fi solved this problem for us. great secure garden for the dogs (who loved this place as much as us). its a great base for exploring the surrounding area, Hafren forest is only about 10 miles away and is a very nice spot for a walk. Would definitely recommend this cottage so much so we have booked it again as soon as we got home.

  • "The cottage was bigger than we expected, and had a lovely fully enclosed garden which was great for our two little dogs to roam freely in."

It was very quiet, as we’d hoped for. I would recommend.

  • "This is a great family cottage in a beautiful setting."

It's a fantastic size for a family of four plus a dog. The whole cottage, including the garden, was spotlessly clean. The beds are so incredibly comfortable, so much so that I searched the mattresses for a brand label. The property manager was a pleasure to deal with and the owner was on hand if needed too. A piece of information worth knowing: There are several low doors and beams in the property so if you're around or over 6ft you will need to duck frequently (or bring a hardhat). This, however, is just something to keep in mind and definitely should not put you off booking this cozy holiday cottage.

  • "Lovely warm cosy cottage, well equipped, clean and comfy in a beautiful surrounding, close to town (Llanidloes), close to Elan Valley, Hefren Forest, Llyn Clywedog Reservoir."

We had the most gorgeous time ! Thank you !

  • "Cottage was very warm and welcoming, both Carol, the agent, and Norman, the owner, were very helpful and friendly, the location was perfect, close to a lovely little town but remote enough to feel like a perfect family weekend getaway and it was lovely to wake up to the sound of sheep!"

    Would certainly recommend and return.

  • "Great comfy cottage, good welcome and would book again."

Could make the directions to find a bit clearer is all! Turn at the sign to New Chapel, not at a new chapel which suggests one is looking for a church!

It was cosy and very comfortable. Spent a lot of time there as the weather wasn’t good would highly recommend.
