  • "A fantastic, spacious 2 bedroom bungalow with amazing views."

Very clean and tidy with all the essentials to provide a home from home. The new summer room is wonderful, just the place to relax and admire the views. Plenty to do in the area. Martin and Kathryn popped by to introduce themselves, and are ther if you need any assistance. We loved it here.

Many thanks for your kind comments Val, we are pleased that you enjoyed your holiday with us. We very much welcome you back in the future, Many thanks, Martin and Kathryn Property Owner

  • "This is a really excellent holiday property."

It is clean, bright, comfortable, well maintained, has wonderful views and is close to town, whilst simultaneously being in the middle of the countryside. The recent addition of a garden room is a great improvement. Welshpool is a nice town, with plenty of shops, pubs and takeaways and has a good number of EV rapid chargers.

Many thanks for your feedback, Christopher, we are very pleased you enjoyed your holiday with us. We look forward to seeing you again in the future, kindest regards, Martin and Kathryn Property Owner

  • "This lovely, modern and spotless bungalow provides everything that might be needed for a relaxing holiday."

It offers a sense of isolation whilst at the same time being close to local amenities. The gardens and front patio are lovely and the patio attracts the afternoon/evening sun (whenever it decides to oblige that is!) and it's just very relaxing sitting looking at the incredible rural undulating view with a glass of wine, or a cup of tea. I thoroughly recommend this property for a satisfying family holiday.

Many thanks for a great review, glad you all enjoyed your holiday, hope to see you soon. Kindest regards Martin and Kathryn Property Owner

  • "A spotless, well appointed , cosy and warm cottage overlooking stunning countryside."

Kitchen has everything you need for snacks to meals. Nice table to eat at too. Seriously comfy beds! Good parking, patio with chairs and table for use between the lovely Welsh "weather"!! I had a slight emergency at home and the 2 owners were brilliant helping me out! Welshpool 4 mins drive away with supermarkets, independent shops and cafes and a nice canal. Particularly good chip shop with free parking over road after 6pm. The owners plans for the side of property will make it even better! We needed a quiet, relaxing and comfortable place as our base and certainly got it! Can't wait go again!!

Kitchen was well equipped, bathroom was excellent, bed was very comfortable. Views all around the property were beautiful whatever the weather and we enjoyed some spectacular sunsets and a rainbow after rain. Owners were most welcoming on arrival and had left us a basket of treats which we thoroughly enjoyed. Plenty to see and do in the area, would thoroughly recommend a stay.

We were blessed with glorious weather. The owners are the perfect hosts. They come and introduce themselves on arrival but apart from that are only there if you want them. We liked it all so much we intend going back again next year.

  • "We had a very relaxing holiday in a very well-presented property with stunning views."

The only issue was with the original listing, which mentioned an enclosed garden. For a dog owner, an enclosed garden is very important. The listing was changed before we arrived, but it was too late for us to do anything about it as most suitable properties had already been booked. Sykes Cottages should have ensured that the listing was accurate before publishing inaccurate information.
