"Very well appointed flat with everything and more than I expected."
Heating instructions would have been useful as would a shaving/makeup light above the basin in the bathroom.
We are pleased that you had an enjoyable stay at our flat.
The heater instructions are already in the Welcome Folder but are obviously not in a prominent enough position. We'll look to see if we can improve on this.
Thank you for your comment about a light above the bathroom basin - this is one of the jobs on our list so it will be actioned in the near future. Property Owner

"Fitted out superbly, could not be better."
However, the sleeping arrangements are not suitable for two adults sleeping separately. I used the 2nd bedroom and the lower bunk headspace was insufficent for me to turn over i n bed without banging on the bunk above,I also crashed my head against the edge of the top bunk when trying to sit
We appreciate the feedback from our guests in saying our accommodation was 'fitted out superbly, could not be better.'With reference to the comments about the second bedroom, this is a triple bed layout with the bottom bed being a full-sized double designed to accommodate 2 adults. The space between the upper and lower beds is constructed to standard dimensions
allowing for adequate headroom. The property photographs clearly show the sleeping arrangements. Limited head space has never been highlighted by previous adult guests who have used the second bedroom and in fact some
have commented on how comfortable and adaptable the bed design is. Property Owner

"Second stay in this property."
Very clean, well-equipped, comfortable and quiet. Perfect base for exploring the area on foot and further afield, and we also used the bus which stops nearby to have some non-driving days and do some one-way coast walks.

"Much nicer inside than the outside looks."
Lovely spot for a beach/walking holiday. Moments from the beach and 10 minutes walk to New Quay.Loads to do and see in the area. Plenty of coastal paths. Dolphins and seals galore!
The only slight downside ( for more than 2 people) were the size of the little sofas, in the main room, a family of 4 would be pushed to all sit together.
Otherwise a smashing place to stay!

"The accommodation was excellent for us."
The position of the bungalow in relation to the town and beaches was wonderful. The decoration, cleanliness and comfort was excellent. We were very, very pleasantly surprised.
We wanted to be close to our family staying on the caravan site so it actually worked very well for us. However, if this had not been the case, we would have been extremely disappointed not to have been told that the flat was in the middle of the caravan site.
Otherwise we would have rated it 'Exceeding Expectations'.
We appreciate the positive feedback and are very happy that our guest rated our accommodation as excellent. The position of the flat relative to the Haven Holiday Park is something we are unable to influence (the 2 cottages and flats were there long before the caravan park), however it is important to note that the sea view is not impeded by any of the park's caravans. It is also worth mentioning that a number of our previous guests have commented on how well maintained and clean the Haven Holiday Park is, the usefulness of the facilities (such as the mini supermarket) and how quiet the site is at all times. "Lovely flat, spotlessly clean, had everything we could possibly need, and as the weather turned a bit cold was also very cozy."
Very conveniently situated for walking the Ceredigion coast, just 10 minutes stroll to New Quay harbour, and in a nice quiet position. We hope to return in more normal times, although we were reassured by the procedures all the local businesses have in place. Oh, and the welcome cookies were delicious!

"We thought this pristine flat was in a great location."
It was really well equipped with everything you could want and immacuately clean. The location was great but it was a steep walk to the beach, however it was lovely to sit on the grassed area outside which overlooked the beach and the town of New Quay. The flat is in a Haven complex and you can purchase day passes to use the facilities eg the swimming pools etc.. the Pub at the entrance is lovely for meals and is dog friendly. The town is a 10 minute drive or 25 mins walk and is so pretty. The bottlenose dolphins can be seen by standing on the harbourwall. The fish and chips and ice cream delightful. We would certainly recommend this property and hope to return next year and we have already recommended it to our family and friends. Cheryl and Trevor Smeatham, September 2020

"We had a wonderful time staying at Cei Bach."
The property was immaculately clean and very well-equipped with lots of attention to detail which made it an extremely cosy and comfortable place to stay. The owners have clearly thought of everything to ensure that holiday-makers can have a relaxing and fun time staying here - it’s one of the best holiday properties we’ve ever stayed in. New Quay is fantastic and we only ventured out of the town once to visit Bwlch Nant Yr Arian Forest - where we saw lots of red kites - and Devil’s Bridge (both are recommended) as everything you could need (beach, shops, great restaurants and takeaways) is on your doorstep. It’s a quick, scenic walk (a few mins) from Cei Bach to the beautiful beach and a short stroll along the beach (or a lane above the beach) to reach the town. We saw dolphins and seals daily from the harbour and the holiday highlight was a pod of dolphins swimming within a few metres of us when we were kayaking in the bay! We’ll definitely be coming back to stay here again. :)
