With a pretty village church and a scattering of houses with lanes leading down to the river, Cemmaes is the perfect little place for a relaxing retreat. Just 10 minutes’ drive away is the small market town of Machynlleth. The streets of the town spread out from the 19th century clock tower, and offer a good mix of specialist shops, pubs and cafes, in addition to the regular street markets held every Wednesday.
