The property

Aberaeron 5 miles.

A quaint cosy cottage, set adjacent to the family farm on a quiet country lane close to the village of Cilcennin and a short drive from the stunning Cardigan Bay.

A perfect retreat for friends and family who are looking for somewhere with plenty of space to relax in each other’s company yet being within a short drive from fabulous beaches and a great variety of family days out.

There are two cosy bedrooms and toilet on the first floor, with the family bathroom on the ground floor.

There is a well-equipped kitchen with dining area opening out onto a small courtyard.

There is a spacious separate sitting room with cosy woodburner leading into the conservatory, perfect to sit and relax of an evening as the sun goes down.

Outside, you can sit in the patio garden or perhaps relax on the veranda around the pond and watch the fish leap where you can enjoy an early evening meal.

The beautiful waters, craggy coves and sweeping beaches of Cardigan Bay are just a short drive, perfect to walk the Wales Coastal Path, spot fabulous wildlife and enjoy the fabulous food and welcome you will find here.

Take a trip to the traditional seaside resort of New Quay where you can get a wildlife spotting boat trip or maybe even see the dolphins from the harbour wall.

Aberaeron with its harbourside lined with candy-coloured houses, is perfect for a lazy day with great restaurants and lovely honey ice-cream or even a trip to the nearby National Trust property of Llanerchaeron.

You are ideally placed to explore the inland vista of the Cambrian Mountains, which starts nearby with beautiful remote countryside stretching from the Tregaron Mountain.

Take a trip to Cors Caron nearby with fantastic raised walkways and the stunning raised bog and reed beds, peppered with wildlife ponds and woodland.

Slightly further afield, to the North you will find the Victorian seaside resort of Aberystwyth, perfect to spend the day on the beach, enjoy a steam train ride to the mystical waterfalls of Devils Bridge, or take a trip up Constitution Hill on the funicular railway or even wait for the aerobatic display as evening falls with the impressive starling murmuration.

A pretty Georgian coastal town located between Cardigan and Aberystwyth with a lovely pebble beach and beautiful sea views. There is an abundance of shops with unusual gifts, great eating places and pubs, and a quiet little harbour to enjoy watching the boats come and go. Aberaeron is perfectly positioned to enjoy boat trips and watersports, or coastal and countryside walks and cycle rides. Short drives to Cardigan to the south, or Aberystwyth to the north offer more shops, craft centres, museums and cinema or theatre visits. A wonderful Mid Wales location all year round.
