  • "We know Dyffryn really well, we had a caravan for years on a local site until we swapped for a motorhome."

We had planned on coming down until we saw the weather forecast and booked the cottage last minute, and we were so glad we did. The place is stunning, absolutely beautiful and comfortable, the location is perfect, the little touches like the cake was just above and beyond. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend.

Thank you for a lovely feedback, looking forward to welcome you back to Ty Cerrig. Property Owner

The property is in a stunning location with fantastic views of the coast and is well located for Snowdonia. The property was exactly as described, very clean and was equipped with everything that you could need. We would recommend a visit!

  • "We always have a lovely stay at Ty Cerrig."

The house and the location are fantastic - we had everything we needed and the peace and quiet of the area is certainly to be enjoyed (along seeing the sheep, rabbits and birds in the field behind). The beach at Llandanwg up the road is great for a quiet walk as it's a little more isolated than some others. Thanks again!

Thank you for a great feedback, it was a pleasure to welcome you both back to Ty Cerrig. Hope to see you again in the future. Property Owner

Thank you Jean for the bara brith, delicious. My husband knew the area as he was born on Llanbedr. Hopefully we will be returning to this lovely cottage next year. Joan Pugh.

  • "Amazing property, a real home from home."

Very clean comfortable and we'll thought out, also very accessible for visual and mobility needs. Beautiful well kept garden, amazing sunset and starlight views. This place is a real hidden gem. Overall absolutely awesome, would definitely book again, and have already recommended to several people. Owners are so lovely and friendly, really welcoming, and don't interfere, they just leave you to enjoy your holiday, the Welsh britha(hope I've spelt that right) is homemade by the owners mum, and is absolutely delicious, best I've tried. Thank you so much for that. Thank you so much for a most amazing and memorable holiday. We will definitely be back next year. Most appreciative of your beautiful Welsh hospitality, and your beautiful country. Thank you so much.

Wow! Thank you for a wonderful feedback much appreciated! I will make sure you’ll have a Bara Brith to take home next time. Property Owner

  • "Wow, this is a fantastic holiday cottage."

Firstly, the beds are so comfortable! And it's very spacious with lots of room for our family of four, both inside and out. Our children (aged 5 and 8) loved the outside and the sheep for neighbours!. The cottage is really well equipped with everything you need, but it's the little touches that really made a difference - full salt and pepper mills, washing up liquid, hoover for the (very) sandy car, lots of plates, bowls, cutlery etc, and generous welcome items too. Really well positioned for different activities, from visiting the nearby (gorgeous) beach, to heading into Barmouth, the Corris Craft Centre and more - a great base. We don't often visit the same place twice but we would love to come back.

Thank you for your feedback. Great to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Ty Cerrig. Hopefully we will welcome you back to the cottage in the future. Property Owner

The area is peaceful with lots of wildlife to admire (rabbits, sheep, lambs, house martins and swallows all within view of the garden) and access to the many lovely towns and villages along the coastal route. The weather was excellent on the week we stayed and we were able to enjoy some swimming at the beach and a meal down the road at Norbar afterwards. I will definitely be booking up again as soon as I can. Thank you for a lovely stay!
