The property

Nestled on the outskirts of the pretty village of Crossgates, in Powys, Wales, is this delightful lodge resting on a site with other delightful dwellings.

Walk through to the two well-presented bedrooms, a double and twin, each housing modern furniture and a matching set of bedside tables and lamps for some late night reading.

The family bathroom provides an elegant bath and hand-held shower, so you can enjoy a relaxing soak in the tub at the end of a tiring day.

Use the enclosed veranda to the front to take a cup of tea out in the morning and simply delight in watching the sunrise over the village.

Discover the beautiful Elan Valley near the bustling town of Rhayader, with beautiful country views and plenty of trails for walking and cycling opportunities.

The Red Kite Feeding Station and Rehabilitation Centre is a deligthful spot for those keen bridwatchers and photographers.

A short drive away takes you to the beautiful Shropshire Hills AONB and the further afield is the magnificent Brecon Beacons National Park, both must-see areas to explore during your trip!

Wonderful walking is on offer practically from the village itself, with trails and paths meandering their way through woodland and along rivers, or for more challenging terrain, simply drive the short distance to the nearby Cambrian Mountains or the spectacular Brecon Beacons. Visit Llandrindod Wells, Rhayader or Builth Wells to find a variety of shops, museums, craft centres, pubs, tea rooms and restaurants. Visit the Red Kite feeding station at Rhayader, which offers a fantastic opportunity to see these beautiful birds at close range, take a trip to the peaceful Elan Valley Lakes or test your nerve at the Phil Price Rally School.
