A traditionally converted barn adjoining to the owners' home and bed and breakfast, set in breathtaking scenery in the heart of Wales, and within easy reach of many tourist attractions including the Royal Welsh Showground and the gateway to the Elan Valley with its famous reservoirs.

Perfect for families, friends or couples, Lilly Pond Cottage is excellently situated for local attractions, you can visit the nearby red kite feeding centre, quiet fields to the reservoirs and dams of the Elan Valley which is only three miles away.

After an eventful day, return to this retreat for its charm-filled interior, homely and inviting, to really compliment the peaceful surroundings.

Relax on the patio or in the the large, secluded and sunny garden with far-reaching views across the Marteg Valley.

There is a neatly equipped kitchen for meal preparation, and a lounge/diner where you can settle down afterwards to enjoy some well-deserved down time.

Two bedrooms offer alternate sleeping options, the first is presented as a double, with views over the fields and an en-suite to complete the arrangement.

A pleasant twin is equally as impressive, a lovely place to unwind before another fun-filled adventure the following morning.

Conveniently, an additional shower room lies on the ground floor.

Walking, fishing and cycling are all on the doorstep, and this location is well known as a great motorbike touring area.

A short drive to Aberystwyth, Devils Bridge or Borth Beach promises a memorable day out, with Rhayader offering many welcoming pubs with appetising food and an award-winning Indian restaurant.

A leisure centre equipped with a pool and gym is also situated in the local town.

For a more strenuous yet enjoyable trip, try pony trekking through the area, or discover the fabulous Elan Valley Lakes, the Gilfach Nature Reserve and excellent mountain biking in the Hafren Forest, which are all close.

Visit Builth Wells, where the Royal Welsh Show is held annually, and here you will find a wide variety of shops, tea rooms and pubs.
