  • "The rusty boathouse is a gorgeous house!"

It was as expected. My husband and I spend our anniversary weekend and it made it a perfect stop. Our fist day was raining and still was beautiful but by evening the sun came out and we hesitated to use the jacuzzi because we thought we had to fill it up and wait hours to warm up but to our surprise it was ready, that was amazing! We would highly recommend this place and I would definitely come back and stay for longer. • "The Rusty Boathouse is stunning."

It’s peaceful and quiet, the most you hear really is the birds and the occasional cow or sheep. It is easy to find and the parking is good. The Boathouse is a short walk and we loved the wheelbarrow to help carry your things. Inside it is finished to a high standard and is a lovely as the photos show. You have a beautiful view of the pond, the alpacas and the sea in the distance from all rooms and the patio and hot tub. We also made good use of the fire pit. The kitchen is well equipped including a Nespresso machine. You are only 4 miles from New Quay and Aberaeron, bot are worth visiting. We also enjoyed a day in Cardigan. If we had any quibbles they were minor and more suggestions really, perhaps separate outdoor table and chairs, a small chest of drawers and a cupboard space in the kitchen for food. This is a new venture and the owners were really helpful. We wish them every success and will certainly be returning.
