  • "Beautiful property, clean, well maintained, well layed out, bright and airy."

Very private and quite. There was no noice transfer between the 2 holiday lets. Everything you needed was there and the hot tub was lovely in the evenings. Each property was separately enclosed area so the dog couldn't wander off. Lots of quality local pubs for lunch and dinner available close by, I highly recomend The Black Lion in Derwenlas Machynlleth, fab food and service. The local dog friendly beach at Ynyslas was amazing, spent hours down there with the dog chasing his ball. We had lovely walks by the river into Borth for afternoon coffee. Overall we had a fantastic week at the property, very relaxing. We will definitely be back again. The welcome gift was very appreciated as were the free range eggs available for sale.

  • "Perfect accommodation, exactly as described."

We were 2 adults, teenager and dogs. Plenty of dishes and utensils, beds were really comfy. Towels were provided which was fantastic. Take beach towels if you’re thinking of a dip in the clear Borth sea. Amazing beach and dogs allowed all year down the Ynyslas end. Great location, take the walk along the river into Borth, it’s beautiful and takes about 20 mins. The road walk is quicker but hairy at times. If you’re looking to explore north Ceredigion, south Gwynedd, Cambrian mountains it’s a good base. Owner was lovely, Diolch!

! My father had a relaxing time which he needed due to ill health and so the tranquil surroundings and lovely open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area helped him chill out whilst I cooked his fav food in a well equipped kitchen. The open plan area meant I was able to still chat to him so definitely was the prefect place for us. The hostess was so friendly but NOT in your face! they leave you alone unless you ask for something. The fresh eggs they sell are yummmmmy! 100% would go again. Fabulous! thanks again for everything! you have a beautiful place xxx

The property is very nicely decorated, comfortable and well maintained. The location is discreet and private and offers a lovely leisurely walk along a riverside into the town of Borth. Many attractions and activities within easy reach, makes this a perfect location a wonderful destination for couples and families, including our furry friend.

  • "We spent Christmas at Moana & it was like home from home."

It’s very spacious but warm & cosy too, perfectly laid out, I’m sure I could live there. The log burner was great for cosy nights in watching Christmas films after a relaxing soak in the hot tub. Borth beach is only up the road and the locals were very welcoming, there are many pubs dotted around the area. Aberystwyth is only a short drive & has all the shops you may need. The welcome pack from the owners was very much appreciated, the bacon was delicious & the Prosecco too. The lodge had everything we needed to cook that special Christmas roast. Even the heavy rain at times couldn’t dampen our spirits as the hot tub is covered from above, but open enough to see the sky, we watched the most amazing moon rise on our last evening. I would definitely recommend either of the two lodges and am hoping to visit again in the summer.

  • "Location is amazing, just a short walk to Borth."

The property is nice and peaceful and we came home feeling very relaxed. The hot tub was great and beds were very comfy. I would definitely recommend the property and borth for a visit to people. Although the owners live on the property they left you too it but were there if needed which made it feel very private. My negative about it all is the cleanliness. I would say it’s surface clean however under the sink in the bathroom left over toothpaste gunk from previous stays and around the toilet basin were hair and dust. Walls were dusty and cobwebs about and dead fly’s in skirting board. I didn’t complain as I was happy to clean myself as I am a bit obsessive with cleaning however it’s the attention to detail and personally I expect this to be basic in my eyes but also can see others may not mind.

Lovely accommodation. On quite a busy road with no footpaths so a bit difficult to take the dog for night time/before bed quick walk. Getting into Borth on foot is on that road or through the caravan site next door to an off road route - torch essential and provided - both routes take about 20 minutes. Property owner really friendly and helpful.

  • "What I am going to say is already known by the owner because they LIVE there."

I was upset to realise that the entrance to the property is a steep short descent and a quick left turn descending further to the flat parking area. The reverse to leave the property is a very difficult assent of the second slope to the main road where you have to push yourself out to see the traffic. I was too nervous to do it and my husband drove every day which isn't our normal pattern. "Fore warned is fore armed". From the picture you have on your website, there is nothing that indicates the approach! Your lack of info re the approach was not right. The second problem was that the lock on the door of the property didn't work. My husband is a practical man and usually nothing phases him --however most days we tried to secure the property and our belongings, it took him upwards of 12 to 20 times to lock up. On the Saturday night the lady renting the other property said she would keep an eye out for us and that she had problems as well.. I got to the point of carrying my jewellery roll with me whenever we went out. The owner knew the doors were tricky to lock and we left a note to the owner when we left of a national company who would /could fix the problem. Finally I don't usually complete these feedback forms of yours because there is NEVER any response from you and I'm seriously thinking which company we use for our future holidays..

Friendly people, friendly cats and a short trip to the beach in Borth. Ideally located in our view, many places to visit and all amenities close by, including superstore in Aber just 10 minutes away. Decent smart TV so you can watch your amazon/netflix content and a great hot tub to wind down in after long walks in the hillls. Comfy sofas and comfy beds. Ticks pretty much all boxes. Just 2 recommendations for improvement: Warn guests that when arriving fully laded, keep to the left of the slope when turning in and down to the cottage. Also curtains in the bedrooms. Just need something else like in the lounge to compliment the blinds. We like our rooms dark.

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at this property, it's in a quiet location near one of our favourite places - Borth."

We liked that you can easily walk into Borth to visit the beach, Zoo, pubs and shops. The property was warm and welcoming, and the Christmas tree was the perfect addition. The shower was very nice, everything was clean and we had everything we could need in the kitchen. The wood burner was lovely and made it very cosy. The owners seemed very helpful and we appreciated the welcome pack of tea, cereal, bacon and sausages - a thoughtful touch. For us, there were two downsides. On arrival we discovered the hot tub was not working. To the owners credit, they tried very hard to get the problem resolved and this was fixed on the second day of our stay, but meant that it was not available until the third day. Not the end of the world, but as this was our Christmas get away that we had saved up for and looked forward to for most of the year it was quite disappointing. It would have been nice to have been forewarned about this problem before we arrived. The only other negative was that the pump fitted in the hot tub was quite noisy, and coupled with uncomfortable beds we didn't sleep well. Overall it's a great property and it was just unfortunate that a few small issues led to a less relaxing stay than we had expected and hoped for.

The lodge was situated in a beautiful spot out of the hustle and bustle and easy to find. It was a perfect space with combined living and dining areas which gave the presence of space. It was nicely decorated and finished to a high standard and was easy to keep clean and tidy. There was a welcome pack on the table which was a nice touch by the owners and we unpacked to settle in very quickly. The bedrooms were lovely and the beds were very comfortable.
