  • "The property was perfect for our stay."

    We were a group of 8. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, and well equipt. There is a convenience store just down the road (walkable), as well as a Tesco, Aldi and Lidl just a 20 minute drive away (these stores are next to each other). We loved the property and would definitely stay there again.

  • "Nice property and wonderful views."

    Hot tub and games room useful for those who would use them. Noticed that when outside, privacy could be compromised because 2 of the attached and much larger property’s windows look out onto this property’s grassed area, which is in shade for most of the day. Neither a full log basket nor TV in the main bedroom were available as advertised but I believe the latter has been removed when I reported it. There is no Welcome Basket which is unusual, so it’s best to either arrange a delivery or take enough food for at least dinner and breakfast. Enjoyed spending time exploring the beautiful surroundings countryside but a little frustrated that the first 36 hours were spent sorting out heating issues. I presume that these will have been rectified by now.

    (For accuracy please see our response and the many other 5* reviews) Thank you for the review in our visitors book which states- “incredible house,stunning views and lovely stay. Thanks x” In response to the garden being in shade - the garden is west facing to the sea and has sunshine all afternoon. Unfortunately storm Amy, from the 1-6th of October was in full swing which was when you stayed at the property. The property had underfloor heating throughout the stay downstairs and a log burner. Issues with heating to the upper floors was fixed within two hours by a heating engineer. The privacy is not compromised as the two windows to the adjoining property have fixed shuttering. Thank you for your kind comments within our visitors book from the rest of the party too. The games room and Hot tub are a great additions we agree. Property Owner

    Everything else is excellent, the position of the property, the way in which it is presented, the facilities etc, were all outstanding and will therefore be definitely recommending you to other family and friends.

  • "5 Days as a golf holiday with our family joing us at the weekend."

    We are distance members of Royal St Davids so played 5 rounds here, day at Nefyn and another day at Aberdovey. Beautiful place and the families had a lovely time at Harlech castle and the beach. The boys and girls loved playing pool. We all loved the hot tub taking in the views. Sadly a careless Mark lost his phone in the bottom of the hot tub for at least 12 hours. We will be back!!

  • "A beautiful property which has been renovated to the highest standard, very clean and had all the amenities we needed."

    The views are incredible and pictures don’t do it justice - the sunset one evening was stunning. Rooms are all a really good size and we had plenty of space as a group of 8 adults and 5 small children. Lots to do in the nearby area and some lovely local shops in Harlech itself plus the castle which our kids loved despite the rain and wind!! The hot tub was a brilliant addition too. A great house and we will be back

  • "5⭐️ We had an amazing stay at valerian lodge."

    Two families, 10 people and we had plenty of space. The views are the best we’ve ever seen, and we couldn’t get enough of that top floor window! We made use of the log fire and the hot tub with a view. Harlech beach is walking distance from the property, which is a stunning beach. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!! Thank you!

    Short drive to the beach and nice walks around the local area. Worth noting if you’re taking a dog then there are gaps they can espace from. This didn’t affect us and we would certainly return to this stunning property!

  • "The property has been restored professionally and refurbished to a high standard."

    It is roomy, bright and has a superb view of Harlech beach and the Lleyn Peninsula across the Tremadoc Bay. The grandchildren loved the hot tub, in all weathers. They also loved the pool table which, with the TV, became an excellent games room.

    Thank you for your feedback we are pleased you enjoyed your rest and holiday. The facilities you felt where not listed where corrected as follows- hooks over bathroom doors. Unfortunately you were not able to find the washing maiden located next to the dryer in the utility room. Mirrors are already located in each bathroom. We have supplied an additional dining chair around the large table to seat 13 adult guests. Property Owner
