  • "The cottage is well equipped (needs an iron/ironing board) and warm and cosy."

We loved the log burner. The owner also left a breakfast hamper that was much appreciated. The main problem for us was the location. It's position half way down the steepest road in the world presented some problems. The road is single track and bendy and the car park space needs some maintenance, it was tricky to manoeuvre our car. The sign at the top of the road says unsuitable for motor vehicles and its correct. Apart from that the area is lovely and Harlech beach is a delight.

  • "The car parking area needs some work."

Hi, thank you so much for the great feedback you left in my visitors book. I am so glad you had a lovely stay and want to return. Sadly the parking space is owned by the local authority, but I agree it does need some new chippings putting down. I will arrange this myself. Thank you again. Best wishes, Trudi. Property Owner

Being on a very steep road does present some challenges but the views made the stay well worth while.

  • "Judi the owner was very helpful."

The cottage was really great as was the village of Harlech. The castle was adjacent, and also the village centre. A great stay would recommend to anyone.

  • "The cottage is 10/10."

Full of character yet has all modern amenities and furnished to a very high standard. It is clear the host has taken great care in putting everything together - it’s a very comfortable & cosy place. We were welcomed with some lovely fresh bread, eggs, bottle of wine and delicious Welsh cakes! The main bedroom has a very comfy king size bed and the bathroom is modern with a huge tub. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The garden (front & back) is secure which our puppy loved being able to explore in. All in all, cannot fault this place - it’s a true gem in the heart of Harlech. Walking distance from the castle and lots of eateries & shops and a 5 minute drive from Harlech beach which must be the most beautiful beach we’ve seen in the UK. We would love to return to this little cottage someday for another little getaway.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. It means the world to me It makes all the hard work truly worth it. When I was renovating the cottage, I wanted to make sure the people who stay in it love and appreciate it as much as I do. Thank you Property Owner
