The property

We’re really excited to be introducing this wonderful property to our portfolio.

Enjoying an elevated position within a 10 minute stroll of the seaside resort town of Harlech, Bodriw is a unique holiday home – secluded and peaceful while still close to local sights and amenities.

This cottage is full of character with sweeping sea and mountain views, including Snowdon, Wales’s highest mountain, and the Llŷn Peninsula.

This traditional, stone-built detached dwelling is the perfect property for a large family to come together and explore the coast, countryside and mountains of this stunning area.

This part of North Wales is filled with plenty of things to see and do.

After an action-packed day, look forward to unwinding in this home from home sitting room, taking in the stunning scenic views, watching TV, playing games brought from home, or relaxing with a glass on the raised patio outside watching the sun go down.

If you feel the need for a quieter indoor space to read or think about your day, curl up in an armchair in the snug.

The large country style kitchen is well-equipped for catering – whether you’re packing a picnic, cooking a family Sunday roast or planning a special meal.

It also includes a dishwasher to help clear up afterwards.

In the kitchen you will also find the washing machine and a breakfast dining table, whilst everyone can enjoy a meal together in the more formal dining room, again with beautiful scenic views.

As the evening grows darker enjoy the silence within one of the cosy, colourful bedrooms in the cottage, comprising of a double bedroom, a 4ft double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom, each with storage space.

One of the unique elements of Bodriw is its large, secluded garden which provides an exciting and natural space for children and dogs to explore.

Adults will enjoy it too!

If you can tear yourself away from this superb property, stroll up the bridle path and amble down the hill with views to the sea into the centre of Harlech.

You’ll find a number of cafes, takeaways and shops with essentials here.

Be sure to pre-book and visit the town’s castle (after 6 August), which is one of Edward 1’s mighty coastal fortresses and now a designated World Heritage Site, which overlooks miles of sandy beach, where families can spend hours during the summer months.

And for any golfing fans, the Royal St David’s golf course also nestles behind the sand dunes of Harlech.

From here, you can travel north to the enchanting Italianate-style village of Portmeirion, which overlooks the coast and enjoys sub-tropical gardens and a cluster of restaurants, cafes and shops, as well as a spa, offering a haven of tranquility overlooking the Dwyryd Estuary.

Slightly further north is the resort of Porthmadog where you can find a wider range of shops and supermarkets.

There are plenty of mountain walks and hikes close to and within driving distance of Harlech as well as Snowdon, which does tend to be extremely busy during the main holiday periods.

Travelling south, you will find the lively seaside resort of Barmouth, again with a wide variety of shops and cafes, and plenty of wonderful walks nearby.

Bodriw promises a wonderful retreat for exploring the delights of this very special part of Wales.
