“The cottage was really lovely and very warm.”

The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of space in the fridge and freezer. The view from the terrace was lovely, and although it would have been nice for there to be some grass for the dogs, you could still let them out and with the beach only 10 minutes away it was ok. Going up and down the hill was a bit challenging but it was doable! Would definitely stay again.

The property

This stone-built, end-terrace cottage is superbly located on the edge of Harlech town, within the Snowdonia National Park.

This cottage has been lovingly renovated to retain its original character, with exposed beams and an inglenook fireplace housing a warming woodburning stove, combined with contemporary furnishings to create a romantic retreat.

Well-equipped throughout, this charming cottage has a king-size double bedroom, a shower room, a kitchen with dining area and a comfortable sitting room.

There is a small patio area outside, which is ideal for a morning coffee and the elevated woodland garden, offers the perfect spot for dining alfresco, enjoying the stunning views over Tremadog Bay to the Snowdonia mountain range beyond.

This welcoming cottage is only a 6-minute walk from the centre of Harlech, which boasts a variety of shops, restaurants and a famous 13th century castle.
