  • "Lovely and private little cabin, very clean and nicely decorated."

WIFI and facilities were excellent. We had a lovely time while we were here and the hot tub was a huge bonus for us. However if you are wanting to use the hot tub I would recommend getting your own logs as there isn’t enough to keep it going especially if you haven’t used a log burner before. Also it would be handy for more information on how to operate the hot tub in the booklet. Mrs Lloyd the farm cat was lovely and she always made an appearance which was welcome by us! However be careful leaving the window open at night as she came in at the middle of the night

The location was absolutely beautiful and we could not fault the cabin. It was so clean and well maintained with lovely little touches like Prosecco and biscuits upon arrival! We felt really comfortable and at home during our stay and we had lots of visits from Mrs Lloyd the cat who was so friendly! Cannot fault Briallen and were already looking to book again for next year!

It was so clean it looked brand new. I loved my stay here this week and my furry friend loved it too. The area was amazing, the town was lovely and we had a very nice, relaxing stress free week. The gifts were a very nice personal touch and it just made me feel so welcome. I will definitely be recommending this property to others and I would love to come back and stay again. 11/10 stay, it was amazing.

Extremely cosy, impeccably clean and well thought out to make maximum use of space. The surrounding scenery is stunning, and the whole place feels isolated and private. It was exactly what I was looking for. I had daily visits from Mrs Lloyd (the farm cat) who is very friendly and affectionate. It’s very difficult to put into words quite how wonderful this place is. I cannot wait to visit again.

So pleased you enjoyed yourselves! I'm afraid Mrs Lloyd seems to think she owns this pod pod! Property Owner

Set in the most beautiful surroundings. It is perfect for a visit to the coast or countryside walks. The pod is immaculately clean. There is everything you could need, and everything is of the best quality. Very well thought out from the path leading to it and the large secure area around, and everything else besides. Plenty of inside storage under the bed. Comfy, warm and cosy. I could not recommend this gorgeous little place enough. I can't wait to visit again in the future.

  • "The pod was absolutely beautiful."

Very clean and cosy. The pod is very secluded so you have lots of privacy. There's plenty of outdoor space for the dog which was perfect for us. I would 100% stay here again. However, unfortunately we did run into a few minor issues with the hot tub, there was a leak in the tub which resulted in us having to refill the tub several times which in turn cooled it right down. ( I have sent the owners a private message to inform them) Id recommend bringing some fire wood or kindling with you also! Mrs Lloyd came to say hello a few times, she's so friendly!

The scenery is amazing and it is so tranquil. Some lovely walks around and not far from towns and the coast. Would highly recommend. My only query was the hot tub as it had a small leak and we were not provided with that information before arrival however we managed to work it eventually.

  • "We had a lovely time at the property."

We were greeted at the gate and escorted to the property by Mrs Lloyd who regularly checked up on us. There was an issue with the central heating upon arrival but was quickly rectified by the owners. The hot tub was rather disappointing though. There is a water leak on the top inlet hose from the fire which meant low water levels. There is also a filter missing from the same inlet hose into the hot tub which meant ash was in the water.

We are very sorry about the hot tub, the filter was ordered and unfortunately took over a month to arrive! Sincerest apologies x Property Owner

  • "Great secluded stay, perfect for escaping the fireworks that scare our dog on bonfire night."

There is one pod in the field next door and a couple houses nearby but it’s designed so that it’s pretty private for both. Amazing peaceful surroundings, river / stream on your doorstep! Mrs Lloyd (owners cat) was a character and very sweet! WiFi is also very good (you’ll need it as no signal) Hot tub got up to heat in November (give it a couple hours and a big fire). A little more kindling to get it going would be nice though. The price is very fair for such a great spot at a nice property. There were a couple downsides but only worth noting and didn’t detract from our stay: - The blinds are quite awkward and one kept falling off. They are also more like privacy semi-transparent rather than blackout so we found there was no point using them - Storage is very limited as you might expect, don’t bring huge bags. - Slight odour in bathroom noticeable occasionally, nothing an air freshener couldn’t help - Mattress and pillows not the best but got used to it - A bit more info in booklet may be helpful e.g. walks, using hot tub, recommendations nearby - Nothing against the property but we found much of the shops, cafes, restaurants etc in surrounding towns are more often than not closed during off season. We highly recommend this if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway and is perfect for a dog too.

It really is amazing, so quiet and tranquil. The surrounding countryside/scenery is amazing. The pod itself is really brilliant, it’s a lot more spacious than you think and it’s very clean and well maintained. The Welsh cakes, crisps and Prosecco was a lovely touch and there was also a pint of milk in the fridge. Everything has been thought about to make your stay perfect. If there was one thing I had put as ‘mark down’ it would be the logs for the hot tub. Because they’re pressed saw dust/chippings I found they weren’t getting hot enough to heat the tub. But that didn’t impact our stay at all, as it’s equally relaxing sitting on the deck listening to the brook and nature. If the hot tub is a big thing for you though just take your own logs and you’ll be fine. I would 100% book this stay again, as it’s just what we wanted and made my birthday! We arrived to find complimentary drinks and snacks which proved welcoming after a long drive before climbing into the hot-tub with another drink in hand to view the stars and listen to the ripples of the nearby stream. The pod was clean and tidy with everything provided and the central heating keeps the place nice and warm even on some of the cold frosty mornings. The pod is ideally placed to visit the Snowdonia area and Barmouth is just down the road for meals and walks along the beach. It was so quiet, peaceful and really relaxing. The surrounding scenery was really beautiful and also very private. We particularly loved Mrs Lloyd and she really made our holiday! She visited every day for a fuss and purred none stop. Gethin was also very friendly and helpful and very quick to respond when we asked for extra logs for the hot tub, which was very much appreciated. The hot tub does take a couple of hours to warm up but we just lit it in advance and it really wasn't a big deal. We did find the TV a bit tricky to get working and we wondered if there was an issue with the remote? As we couldn't seem to select anything to actually watch when we had Netflix on. However, we did use the Wifi and was able to mirror from our phones. All in all, we were sad to come home and would recommend to anyone! Thanks for a lovely stay :)

The television has a button on the remote to access the mouse that you guide along the screen to select what you want. This is new technology to me!! The pod was kitted out tastefully and to a high standard including the shower. The log burner hot tub was super. Easy to light and warmed up quickly (hint - get the fire roaring and that heats the water quickly, then let the fire burn low :)). You can hear owls and see the occasional bat at night. You can hear the brook too. The immediate area is fenced so fine for the hound. The ponies in the adjacent field provide a perfect arrival and departure committee. Only suggestion is that you put a nice sign on the car park area as well as the gate to the pod. The privacy of the pod which is great makes it difficult to find. This was a truly relaxing and memorable break and I certainly will visit again when the opportunity arises.

The WiFi was excellent, strong with a good range outside the pod. Quite tricky to find the first time, the B road in the directions is a steep and winding single track road, when you get to the cattle grid, you are about ⅓ of the way to the telephone box.
