"The cottage was even better than expected ,so well equipped with first rate fixtures and fittings."
We were made welcome from the start even though the farm was busy the greeting was warm and friendly. Lots of wildlife and such to see and plenty to do in the surrounding area. If you want to wind down and recharge your batteries then this is the place to do just that. Lovely stay thanks a million. Mary and Frank

"Very peaceful relaxing stay, hot tub great and property clean and very spacious, lovely watching sheep & lambs each day also the red kites soaring by."
Lovely surprise bottle of Prosecco for our joint birthday celebrations, excellent overall would recommend.
-
"An exceptional property in a beautiful and tranquil location."
We are already planning our next stay here at some point in the future and we have definitely recommended to our friends and family. Thankyou so much!
-
"What a fantastic haven to relax with top class hospitality!"
Ideal location that feels away from the world but a stones throw away from all the amenities you need. The barn was very clean, comfortable and very warm for our February visit. Well equipped kitchen and the hot tub was covered so it can be used in all weather. Nothing we could say would describe the amazing views we woke to every day. We will be returning guests

"We had a great time in this beautiful barn."
Then property is very well equipped ,the owners have really thought of everything you will need. My teenage daughter and her friend had a great time in the hot tub . We would definitely go back again- rural Wales at its best .

"Fantastic property and ideal location to get away from it all."
Had a fabulous week.

"My friend and I stayed at Brynhir Farm for a week."
We could not fault the friendly welcome we had: the accommodation met all our needs and the setting was perfect. A lovely, relaxing holiday. Thank you.
-
"A great find if you are looking for a tranquil getaway."
Spacious accommodation in a quiet setting - on a working farm but not too busy. A private hot tub is definitely a big plus if you are planning a walking holiday :) Nearest town has a big Tesco to stock up on supplies - we did not eat out so I cannot comment on local pubs/restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider coming back.

"Very pleasant and spacious accommodation on a working farm near Howey, Llandrindod Wells."
Good for exploring the surrounding area and Elan Valley.
-
"Fabulous accommodation, very comfortable and had everything we needed."
It was so relaxing, peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the wildlife, especially the regular visit from the red kite. Lovely friendly welcome from the owner and there if we needed anything. Added bonus of the hot tub especially after a day out walking. It was a good 2 mile walk into the village, up and down the hills, but the views were worth it. Would definitely recommend this property.

"All had a fantastic time would definitely recommend"
-
"Gorgeous accommodation in lovely surroundings."
The owners have thought of everything and it is furnished to such a high standard . They are very welcoming and friendly . You need to be prepared to travel for everything though , especially with 2 teenage girls !!!! Despite this - lovely stay

"Enjoyed the peace and quiet."
Loved sitting out on balcony watching the wildlife.
-
"The whole place is amazing."
The barn is outstanding, luxurious and very clean. Very well equipped. Hot tub is superb and was a great pain reliever. Views fantastic. Mrs Nixon very helpful. And we especially loved being so close to all the sheep and lambs. They are so funny and lovely to watch. Better than any TV. Marvellous scenery all around the place. We did not want to leave. We hope to be back as soon as possible but Brynhir farm seems to be booking up really fast. The photos do not do this place justice. Thanks so much To the Nixons :).

"We had a wonderful girls week at the farm."
We went on many challenging & adventurous walks & so the hot tub was heaven to relax in after. Being surrounded by sheep & no other noises was just glorious & the house was very spacious fo the three of us celebrating a 50th birthday. The only point I would mention if you go is to take a speaker you can play music on as there is only a radio at the house. If you want peace & quiet with the luxury of a hot tub then this is the place to be. We didn’t want to leave!

"I would definitely recommend and return to Brynhir farm after spending a lovely week in this amazing place."
The photos really don’t do it justice. I felt like I was in a self catering hotel suite. Ceinwein (owner and very friendly) has thought of everything and the little things made it feel like it was home to home. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great but it didn’t matter as we thoroughly enjoyed chilling in this luxurious place until the rain stopped at 3pm! WiFi and mobile reception was intermittent but it was an added bonus to have a break from gadget screens. WiFi works in the main farmhouse if you’re desperate but we found a signal standing outside the main farmhouse. We only needed it for researching things to do. We filled our week up and ventured to many places. I’d recommend bringing a night light if you have children as it is pitch black at night. But the bonus of no light pollution was sitting on the balcony looking at the stars. My son was very excited to see shooting stars and satellites. There is a sat freeview tv in every room but we also brought our own dvds (not Blu-ray). The sheep and cows were very entertaining with their conversations plus we had the pleasure of kites whistling to each and flying from tree to tree. Stunning birds. Loved it all!

Beautifully laid out with everything we needed for our week away. After our long walks in the stunning countryside we all enjoyed time in the hot tub. We can't wait to return. Completely recommend 10/10.

"It has been an amazing cottage/barn to stay in!"
Mrs. Nixon was a fab host. The place is tranquil and remote which we loved. The accommodation itself is huge! Only two of us stayed and it can definitely accommodate 4 people! And it goes without saying the hot tub was A+!

"Mrs Nixon was a perfect host."
We arrived about an hour early and she allowed us entry. As soon as we arrived she gave us some home cooked treats that we really appreciated. We loved the property, it was amazing, home from home. All kitchen utensils you would want are available. Our biggest enjoyment was sitting in the hot tub watching the lambs jumping and playing right next to us. There was grass right next to the barn for our boy to play footy on, perfect in the nice weather. There are some lovely walks right from the door and we ventured to elan valley and the brecon hills. For a family with a teenager just a perfect stay. We had time to just stop and chill and there were things close enough to have adventures at. I would highly recommend this property. Thank you Mrs Nixon, we had a fantastic stay.

"The Lodge was home from home and had all the facilities you needed ."
It was very clean , very spacious and extremely comfortable, especially the beds . The hot tub was fab and great to relax in after a day out walking and sight seeing. The hosts Mrs & Mr Nixon were very friendly and quite helpful. Although their own property was behind the lodge they were not intrusive and you hardly knew they were there . I would highly recommend this property if you want a quiet relaxing break. We look forward to another stay in the near future.

"Brynhir Farm is a fantastic, spacious and very well equipped property."
The owners are very friendly and on hand if needed, but by no means intusive. We had a fabulous stay here over the New Year period. Lots of nice local walks and places of interest a short drive away. We will definitely be back to stay here again very soon. Many thanks Cienwein Nixon and family

"Beautiful property set on a beautiful farm with the farmhouse/b&b next door."
Feels totally isolated from one side of the house, very peaceful with just cows and sheep for company! The property is furnished to a really high standard and the owners are on hand if you need anything and leave you alone if you don’t. Would happily come back again
