    “Perfect Escape”

A lovely clean cottage with all mod cons including a decent shower, well equipped kitchen, good mattress and my favourite - a roaring log burner for warmth and cosyness. Its Wales so it will rain... Set in a small farm high up with mountain views and walks.

The property

Boasting a rural position on the foothills of Cadair Idris, is the endearing, stone-built cottage, Pandy Ucha.

Tucked away on a charming working farm, this base promises a refreshing retreat for a couple looking to escape their busy daily routines to explore this rural setting.

It is ideally situated for outdoor enthusiasts to explore the magnitude of opportunities on offer within the Snowdonia National Park, as well as relaxing days on the picturesque coast.

The interior enjoys a clever blend of farmhouse-style tradition with striking contemporary furnishings to offer a unique experience for a romantic retreat.

Be charmed by the character of the property, which includes white-washed stone walls, exposed beams and memorable views of Cadair Idris.

Step into the well-presented kitchen, where the Range cooker takes centre stage before the all the other essentials you will need to prepare a delicious home-cooked meal.

After dinner, curl up with your loved one on the red corner sofa whilst the roaring woodburning stove offers tranquillity during those winter months.

As the evening draws to a close, head up the staircase to find a well-presented double bedroom, with a skylight window which floods the room with natural light.

On a sunny afternoon, spend time within the rear garden, where you can rustle up something on the BBQ and soak up the picturesque surroundings.

For those special occasions, venture into the centre of Dolgellau where you will find a selection of restaurants and pubs, as well as a number of shops for picking up the essentials.

For those feeling active, you will find a magnitude of walks from the doorstep of the cottage which includes the mountain peak Cadair Idris or keen cyclists will be delighted with the nearby Coed y Brenin Forest Park.
