"Great accomodation, lovely location."
Nice and out of the way and friendly host. Take away food from the Cross Keys was brilliant and there is a nice walk mostly across fields to the Three Pigeons in Nesscliffe. Great place to explore the area
"Had a lovely week at Moorhen Lodge."
Everything you could possibly need was provided and the lovely bottle of sparkling wine was an added bonus. The hot tub provided that extra relaxation for all of us after days out.
"The owners were really lovely and could not have done any more for us."
They allowed us to have an early check-in, had a bottle of bubbly chilling for us and even let us check-out later than usual. The lodge itself was lovely and homely, and spotless! They really did an amazing job, especially considering it was a last minute booking. The lodge is located in a really beautiful setting and isn't overlooked by any other buildings. I can't recommend this place enough

The sofas and beds were so comfortable. We very much enjoyed the hot tub and also sitting out on the decking area watching the wildlife. It really is such a peaceful setting and the lodge has everything you need!
"A relaxing week with a number of walks easily accessed from the lodge."
Also easy to access local villages and towns. The location is so peaceful with lots of bird and wildlife spotting from the spacious porch. The view from the lodge is hard to beat. The undercover hot tub was used every evening and was very welcome. The lodge itself has every facility and the 2 en suites are very handy. Would definitely recommend.

The peace and quiet was rejuvenating. The hot tub was to die for. Can really recommend it if you are looking to get away from it all and have a peaceful break. About the location
Oswestry 6.9 miles; Shrewsbury 12.5 miles.
The small village of Kinnerley rests in the unspoilt Shropshire countryside, nestled between the villages of Dovaston and Pentre, with the nearest town being Oswestry. Many years ago, village was a stop on the now defunct Shropshire and Montgomery Railway, that ran from 1866 to 1960, whilst today it is mainly a residential village with a primary school, a church and a well-stocked shop that has fresh bread twice a week. Around the village are numerous walking and cycling routes which scale through the picturesque countryside. Seven miles away is the market town of Oswestry, boasting a range of restaurants, pubs and independent shops, whilst further afield lies the popular Shrewsbury and Telford.
