  • "What a fabulous holiday we have just had, we only booked 3 nights but ended up staying all week."

Rob is such a lovely guy, came around a few hours after we arrived to chech if everything was OK Cheryl the house keeper was also lovely and very friendly. We stayed in Robin it was spotless and situated 10 Mt's from a pond. Would we return you bet can't wait for return hopefully in September. Maybe try the one with the hot tub.

  • "We loved this holiday!"

Me and my partner went away for a long weekend, 3 nights. The Robin cabin was so cute and cosy and we couldn’t have been happier!! We arrived unpacked and decided to go on a walk, straight out the front doors is a little pond and you can follow it all the way round through a little woods, this was such a nice walk and was so pretty! The bed was comfy, the duvet was lovely, it was warm (great heater), it just had everything in such a perfect space! We’d love to come again if not build ourselves a little one! TV worked great! Lovely BBQ! But confused on how to use the oven microwave so if you’re anything like us don’t take oven food! But the woman was lovely and came over as soon as we called! Can’t recommend enough!

  • "The Hut was bigger than expected and furnished to a high standard."

Very clean and BBQ was fabulous on the decking as even when raining the large cover over the decking stopped you getting wet. I would recommend this site. Plenty to visit in surrounding areas. One thing I would of liked was a comfortable seat for on a night . Family run and very friendly no issues checking in .

  • "I booked Robin as a place which I hoped would be quiet and peaceful."

My expectations were exceeded as it turns out the view is of the pond, and that the neighbouring cabins are far enough away for me to feel relatively secluded and there are some lovely beds of shrubs which have been especially planted for additional privacy on the balcony. My expectations were also exceeded as this is a family run business which offers the personal touch; the owner and family members are super friendly, helpful and full of local knowledge and advice. My expectations were also exceeded in that Robin is actually brand new!! I was only the second person to stay so everything was spotless. In addition, I loved the well designed layout of the cabin and the balcony which allowed me to spend my entire time outdoors even during the rain showers. The surrounding area is beautiful and the country lanes are quiet which was perfect for walks, runs and blackberry picking. Also, the cooking facilities were enough for me to prepare all my meals as there is a well sized fridge which stored all my food for my stay. Although the village pub looked delightfully inviting, I didn't get the chance to try it out, but I did enjoy a delicious two course meal in the lovely garden of the nearby Three Pigeons on my journey down. All in all, I couldn't recommend Robin more highly, everything about my stay was just idyllic and was the perfect getaway for me to be able to write without any distractions!

About the location

KINNERLEY

Oswestry 6.9 miles; Shrewsbury 12.5 miles.

The small village of Kinnerley rests in the unspoilt Shropshire countryside, nestled between the villages of Dovaston and Pentre, with the nearest town being Oswestry. Many years ago, village was a stop on the now defunct Shropshire and Montgomery Railway, that ran from 1866 to 1960, whilst today it is mainly a residential village with a primary school, a church and a well-stocked shop that has fresh bread twice a week. Around the village are numerous walking and cycling routes which scale through the picturesque countryside. Seven miles away is the market town of Oswestry, boasting a range of restaurants, pubs and independent shops, whilst further afield lies the popular Shrewsbury and Telford.
