  • "Lovely stay."

Faulty mechanical timer on the boiler which meant we couldn’t have the heating on timed. Other than that everything was great

  • "Had a fabulous week away at this caravan."

Stayed on the site many times before and this was by far the best view even when the weather wasn't good you didn't mind with that view. Really comfy bed but the sofa is as with all caravans a bit hard. Everything you needed was there, will definitely be booking again.

  • "Gwel y mor is a lovely, clean and well maintained property that has everything you need for a great holiday."

The views from the property are simply stunning no matter what the weather is like. Sunrise and sunset lovers won't be disappointed! The site itself has excellent facilities including the outdoor heated pool, bar and restaurant. The Sunday lunch is a must here! The staff are friendly. Can't recommend this accommodation enough. Thank you

  • "Lovely caravan, views are fantastic, great location."

However if you have walking difficulties this caravan is sited at the top of a very steep plot, this should be noted in the listing. The site is outstanding heated swimming pool and only 5 min drive from Barmouth. Caravan was spotlessly clean and tidy, lovely inside, beds really comfy. It didn’t have an indoor, doormat, so I had to buy one. I found this a little strange for a caravan. No welcome pack, no little touches. No practical mirror in the main bathroom, it was in the shower and you had to be 6ft to see through it. Would have been nice to have an additional TV in the main bedroom, looked like it had one, at some stage. Maybe also provide extra bin bags, because one for a whole week isn’t enough. Apart from the above this is a lovely caravan, but could be so special if little touches were added.

  • "Gwel y Mor is a really comfortable dwelling , and has lovely views from its position over-looking the bay, and Barmouth close by."

1 small thing we did miss, was there was no Drainer for the washed Crockery to stand it in. but we managed this ok. Just a small item !! Everything else was spot on , and thank you to the Owners for such a lovely dwelling place to be in. Mr & Mrs A &B Farrington

The property was clean, well maintained, and situated on a lovely, well looked after plot. We enjoyed our short break here, lovely views and close to the beach.. perfect little break. We would consider coming back for longer :)

  • "Lovely caravan with fabulous view."

The site is very steep. The steps next to to the caravan itself would benefit from a handrail.

  • "Clean well maintained and convenient layout."

Great view from front window. Outside space looked very good with 2 lovely places to sit and enjoy the view, we were there in December so didn’t get chance to use them.

  • "The caravan was spotless and very spacious."

The view is amazing and the location is great, very handy for Barmouth and the local train station to get out and about along the coast. The owner rang to check everything was ok which was very kind of him. The only improvements could be provision of an oven glove, a small pan and perhaps reading lamps in the large bedroom, but these were minor points. We had a brilliant week and would love to return.

  • "Had a wonderful stay in the property."

It was easy to find and access and had most of the things listed (missing TV in bedroom). Would have been good to have had more information about how to access the Wifi but this was resolved with a quick text and also the heating was completely switched off so had to work out how to set the timer on the boiler as I had a couple of particularly cold and windy nights while there, but apart from that it was a great place to unwind with amazing views and all the amenities to hand that I needed for my stay. Thank you,

  • "No electric when we arrived & no power again on Tuesday eve we left Wednesday instead of Saturday."

its a lovely place to stay until it rains & the power goes off. when the power goes off the electrician has to isolate the sockets so no tv etc does not work, the owner said we should just go the pub. No welcome pack with information who to contact in a emergency or any general guidance where to take your rubbish etc. no tv in the bedroom as advertised

The elevated garden at the back is an excellent viewing point. Hendre Coed Isaf site is a lovely and clean site with fantastic facilties and friendly staff. The new outdoor heated pool was used daily and is highly recommended. There is also a bar and restaurant. If you want a great break with fantastic views and facilities, this is the place.
