“We had a fantastic break away from all the worries of this year.”

We were supposed to be in greece for our 25th wedding anniversary but we booked this when it got cancelled. We enjoyed it completely out in the middle of nowhere,. It was a shame the nearby pub was closed due to health issues with the owner but we still had a lovely time and thanks to the information in the hut found a lovely put to have sunday lunch in. The nearest town was newtown and only a 10 minute drive away. yes there were flies but we found a fly catcher in the cupboard and hung ...

A lovely hut which was cosy and memorable. We spent a much needed week together with nothing else to worry about. We will be returning next year. Thank you

“The flies!!!”

!! So many of them! It stopped us from wanting to spend time in the actual cabin. Beautiful location and setting though, nothing around for miles so take all food etc with you is essential. The hot bub was a lovely touch. We loved the fire pit too, so more wood etc would of been welcomed. Overall really enjoyed our peace and tranquillity in the middle of no where.

“Absolutely enjoyed every second of the holiday.”

Only thing i found was an issue was the flys that would constantly bombard you. We found we quickly depleted the fly spray provided and found ourselves bringing and fly trap from home. Other than that the holiday was perfect, with a perfect location to.

Thank you for lovely comments. I am sorry if you may have encountered issues with flies during your stay. I would like to add that the hut is situated in a livestock area and it the weather was very humid during your time away. We provide fly spray and sticky traps for your stay which should be located under the kitchen sink. Sykes owner relations

“Quirky Holiday Retreat”

Spent 2 days at this amazing hut and will definitely be coming back. Nestled into the beautiful Welsh countryside, the hut has everything so compactly put together but it still feels spacious. The wildlife and hot tub are stunning additions.

“Relaxing break”

We stayed at the hut in october, it was the most relaxing hoiday . The amenites were outstanding, we enjoyed some lovely evening in the hot tube looking out over the beuitiful views. The old oak tree and squrials gave use hours of enterainment! Would deffinatly go back.

Padarn's Hut rests amidst the stunning rolling countryside of Powys, in the friendly village of Llanbadarn Fynydd.

Be sure to visit the nearby towns of both Llandrindod Wells and Newtown, they provide ranges of shops and eateries, as well as museums and other attractions.

The rural village of Llanbadarn Fynydd nestles in the Powys countryside between Newtown and Llandrindod Wells. Llanbadarn Fynydd offers a community shop and a friendly pub, which serves good food, plus the Glyndwr’s Way National Trail passes through the village, as does the River Ithon before it joins the River Wye.
