  • "We absolutely loved our stay here!"

The shepherds hut is amazing and is exactly as listed online. The guest book was really helpful for learning information about the local area and where things are kept in the hut, etc. Even in January, despite not using the hot-tub, we used all facilities and the log fire kept us so warm in the evenings. The views are amazing, and we found this a good location for driving to climb Snowdon in the early hours of the morning. The local town has a couple of pubs for the evening and petrol stations and a little food shop if you need to get food whilst on your stay. The hosts were lovely! Have nothing bad to say or any improvements it was great and we are so happy we booked to stay here - thank you!

Glad you made it up Snowdon and that you enjoyed your stay. Hope to see you again soon, Regards, Eleri Property Owner

Cosy, lovely cabin with breath taking views to wake up to each morning! We had the best bedroom in the world. The hosts were so so caring and helpful during our stay, making our stay extremely relaxing. We enjoyed firing up the hot tub each evening and the lovely walks in the area, 10/10 would recommend this as a getaway! We really enjoyed ourselves here xx

It’s a room with a view in all weather isn’t it?! Glad you enjoyed yourselves! Hope to see you again in the future. Regards, Eleri. Property Owner

  • "Llethr and its location were stunning."

The hosts had thought of everything, and were lovely. Accommodation was perfect, extremely clean, well looked after and comfortable. The distance to the pub is a gorgeous 7km walk over stunning scenery, and there was plenty of other walks around to with a map in accommodation to check out. We later enjoyed a lovely soak in the woodfired hot tub. We will certainly be revisiting this place, and would highly recommend others to.

The walk down is amazing. I always suggest a pub lunch and taxi back from the village. Glad you enjoyed it! Hope to see you again soon. Regards, Eleri Property Owner

  • "We had an absolutely magical weekend away in our shepherd's hut."

The owner was so lovely and recommended us a brilliant walk across Rhinog Fach (just opposite the hut), which was the perfect way to spend our 10 year wedding anniversary! If you want peace and quiet then this is the place for you, the hot tub under the stars was amazing. One thing for future guests, be sure to do a food shop or or research/book restaurants ahead as you are genuinely a 15 minute drive from the village!

Rhinog fach is an amazing walk- and the lakes are a bonus! Yes, it’s always better to shop on the way. I’d suggest booking for a meal during the summer busy period or bank holidays, but all three pubs have also great beer gardens to enjoy! Next time why not walk down the valley for a pub lunch and ask them the call you a taxi home… Glad you enjoyed. Regards, Eleri. Property Owner

  • "We had a fantastic stay at the shepherd hut this weekend."

The views surrounding the property are breathtaking and the hut itself is comfortable and clean. The hot tub is wood fired and all the wood, kindling and matches are provided. There is an outside stove/bbq pit which is a nice addition to book breakfast and dinner outside too. I couldn’t fault this place , we had such a nice time and the hosts are welcoming and super friendly. My only tip would be to bring bug spray or repellent. I came home with lots of bites which can’t be helped but wish I had taken some spray with me!

  • "Gorgeous hut set in the most beautiful location."

The owner was kind enough to greet us with a warm welcome as we arrived, plus the additional touch of a bottle of wine and some welsh cakes was lovely. Both owners were very kind, attentive and provided us with plenty of information regarding the local area. The hut itself catered for everything that you’d need for a break away and it is evident from the finishing touches that the owners have put there heart and soul into the hut to make it a very special place.

This location has much to offer any type of holiday maker (even during the rainy periods) from those wanting to be 'off grid' to those wanting to explore further by visiting various heritage sites, such as castles, travelling in style on real steam railways, walking on the beach or participating in more adventurous activities at Zip World. The owners are very friendly, attentive and quick to respond to any questions or issues you may have; overall, a fantastic holiday destination during which we explored everything that Wales has to offer; highly recommended.
